in order to avoid further problems, I will no longer talk about the subject of the Doctor changing genders.
Thatâs what the youth of today are into my man. They change phones like they change their underwear.
Every few months.
No.
My brothers phone stopped working so I gave him the LG, and then there was a good deal for an iPhone SE at that moment.
So how is your brother doing with the LG?
*sigh*
oojason, I am sorry I somehow missed your explanation. I am not sure how missed it. my apologies.

Romanadvoratrelundar seemed to be too long a name when she introduced herself to the Doctor. He had trouble pronouncing the full name, and quickly shortened it to âRomanaâ, though given the choice of being called âRomanaâ or âFredâ she told him to call her âFredâ.
So yes, Fred. Why not?
Oh. I had forgotten that scene.
Ok, I have to address this.
Itâs next to the one where you lied about what I said - or rather didnât say.
When/where did I do this?
very well I will leave this thread and talk about it no longer. I donât wish the thread locked. One sexist pig signing off.

oops.
Iâm sure this will all be forgotten when Rifftrax does The Five Doctors next month. đ

Would it bother you if it were a black doctor? After all, all the doctors have been white for 50 years.
believe it or not, I donât think racial switch would bother me so much. But would still bother me, after over 20 regenerations of various characters seen in both new and old Who, that not once did race change.
So much for âcolor blindâ?
again I am tempted to re post the middle finger pic, but I will refrain.

You really should see Ryan Johnsonâs doctor. I know itâs not âcanonâ, but the woman who played the doctor was quite good, it wasnât a joke, and it was 30 years ago. There were 4 episodes, the 4th one being the best.
Ryan has a website that can be found with a modest bit of googling.
I am intrigued - will certainly give it a go.
Â
Â
On a separate note I donât get all the selective cherry-picking of past episodes to try and discredit the notion that a Gallifreyan canât change sexes - weâre told, and have been shown, that they can change colour, age, personality, character, memory, and sex - so itâs hardly a big surpriseâŚ
Over 20 regenerations of various characters in old and new Who before Missy, not once was there a gender change not once.
and just because it hasnât been mentioned in the earlier Who content doesnât mean itâs any less correct.
perhaps, but if Timelords can change gender, the lack of any mention of this(and the lack of it actually happening) for over 50 years, is quite glaring.
The Doctor will be a woman - big deal.
Just like it would be no big dead if Romana or Rani changed into a man. Right.
It wouldnât be a big deal if Romana (Fred) or Rani regenerated into a man - as previously said. Why would it?
What are you talking about with this (Fred). If Romana ever regenerated into a male and went by the name Fred, I have never heard about it.
Read back through my post on it in here - and youâll find the answer.
I didnât see any answer to my question in the above post and I am not about to re-read the entire thread. Perhaps Iâll google it one day.
Now, why would it be a big deal if Romana or Rani regenerated into a man?
because feminists.
May I remind everyone here that Star Wars is also a work of fiction.
Jesus Christ.
Fictional character. Who gives a shit if they change him into a woman? Get over it.
ok, Iâm not going to talk to you about this anymore cause you just donât want to get it and you donât want to listen. Please go on considering me the sexist pig you know me to be.
whatever.

not cannon. So I really donât care about it.
Geez, you totally miss the point. Iâm not saying itâs canon (one N, btw), Iâm saying that with good story and acting it has been shown that a female doctor can work fine.
⌠cannon,
Proof that you didnât read my post. đ
Thanks for not reading mine.

The point is, someone tried to argue that there was a female Doctor before. Since this wasnât cannon, it doesnât count and therefore there has not in fact been a female Doctor until today.

What I donât understand is why they didnât go all the way PC and choose a black female gay actor to play the part.

This is a truly idiotic conversation.
Conveniently, with a bit of editing, I can turn this quote right around back at you:
Ok, Iâm not going to talk to you about this anymore because you just donât want to get it and you donât want to listen. Please go on considering me the feminazi you know me to be.
good. While I wonât consider you a feminazi, I am glad you wonât try to talk to me about this any more.
