Well, I have been posting on my parents coputer, and It's not exactly a thing you would use for editing. *cough 15g.b HD cough****
I'm getting one (a super fast gaming computer) that has 3 hardrives for free!!!
Can anyone say DVD edting all around!?

How do I download to my computer, and edit, then burn onto another DVD, a copyrighted DVD? (ANH SE 2004 for example)

Yeah, but its only great quality on the 2 hour setting.
All Star Wars movies (other than ANH) are longer than 2 hours.

I know all DVD's say 2 hour recording on them, so is this the problem?

Hmmm....
Yeah, but no so much-

I tried copying (recording off of HBO) Clear&Present Danger, on 3 hour speed, and I got the same results.....I play it, and the sound comes OUT OF TUNE!!!!!!
Its like the action scene music is from some 60's horror movie, when its not supposed to be...................
any suggestions?
I'm going to try and pick up a pack of Sony DVD+R's......................I'm going to try those, and if that doesnt work..........well...........
well shit....I'll just get another DVD recorder, one mabe a little more decent......
200$-300$ range, or just wait for my dad to get a new computer (like I said, a few months)

But I've had a hell of a time copying Clone Wars Vol 1-2 as shown on Cartoon network ( I recorded it onto Tape, now I'm trying to transfer it to DVD, but the same out-of-tune "slow" music/ Sound fx.............................I think it could be a DVD speed
(I'm trying to copy a 16x DVD to an 8x DVD, but does that matter?)
Damn...........how am I going to do this..........I got christmas presents to make.............mabe I should just make multi-disc sets.........
It records alright on HQ (high quality) but Clone Wars is one hour ten minutes.........................so I need to go with the 2 hour speed....which also butchers the sound.................................................................................................................................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SO FUSTRATED!

No, It doesnt let you record commercial DVD's....
I know!
Thats why I want to get a direct DVD burner, but I won't for a while (mabe the next few months)
I just talked to my dad and he said:

I'm using a TRUTECH tt 1620 DVD recorder and a TRUTECH tt 320 DVD player.
I'm trying to copy (for the sake of the example, Darth Editus ANH edit), and everytime a copy it, the sound comes out all out of tune!
I don't know how I'm supposed to make a decent copy. I have already (because the movie is 2 hours long) picked LP, and its decent pucture quality, but the sound comes out horrible!!
What am I to do!
Is there a diffrent speed blank disc to use?
Can someone recomend a diffrent speed blank disc?
Or is it the DVD player? (i doubt it..)
or is there a problem w/ the recorder itself? (I got it Oct 28.)

PLEASE HELP!

With hold putting the masking scene of DV from III to the end of ROTJ, when vader is dieing, or when hes being cremated.

BTW, I like that crawl you made up earlier, I'll be putting that in the final product:

Galaxy Wars

Defeating the allies in WWII, in victory Germany conquered the rest of the world.

This is an idea I came up with.
While watching episode III, I though up of somthing really cool. I think.

You see Star Destoyer.
Right when Obi-Wans fighter comes in with anikans and goes onto the SD, dialouge starts. Not too loud, and it will have the short wave interception witht he mixed signals, etc.

"Oddball do you copy? This is <span class=“Bold”>General Kenobi</span> of the third army. Do you read me? Over.
"Yes Sir General Kenobi. We have quite a situation here. They arrived a few hours ago. (Clone Wars Vol 2.) We’re glad you came when you did.
"I can see that OddBall. My fleet has just arrived, and I and Commander Skywalker will be assisting the resucueing of the chancellor. We’ll make our way over to you. We’ll be there up on your way…
Then the two starfighters go stright down into the battle. A few secones into the battle you here very dimmly from ANH (how many guns you think gold 5? I dono…about 985 high guns. some up on the surface some on the towers) kinda like their on their own specific battles.
2:50 (bootleg)
While anikan and obi1 fly thorough the explosion (a little before) you here a british man saying:
THIS IS COMMAND VESSEL ONE. PREPARE ION CANNON. ION CANNON STAND BY. FIRE.
At that moment the star destroyer fires that huge blue blast at the sepritist destroyer.
Peices from the bad guy ship crash into COMMAND VESSEL ONE. At that moment you hear very dimmly:
THIS IS COMMAND ONE, WERE LOSING OUR HULL…REPEAT LOSING OUR HULL!
I timed it and it sounds great put together.
Yet another editing project.

Also, about that french thing...
I think I'm just going to have english subtitles throught the entire movie, on the black box (bottom) of cource...
I'm not aiming for a "french" movie, more of a nuetral "format". I'll have subitiles for the english men and women (yes, the ESB rebel controller "Stand By Ion Cannon").

If theres anyone that could post a french version of the crawl that would be great...but as seeing I'm still changing the crawl time and time again, that may be best suited for later (tword the end of the process)
I was wondering...I'snt there some set......(I dont know exactly) some LD set that has english,french, and german?(on seperate tracks of cource)
Is there such a thing?
If I can get a copy...that'll be great. And I'm not talking about a torrent (I wish I could...but I cant download stuff) actually physical copies.

Yeah I messed up.
I'm slowly thinking of what the process I'm going to do will be.
I'm getting alot of neat ideas.
The computer I'm gonna get has No DVD burner for the record, so I'm going to have to buy one with christmas money....can anyone reccomend some great ones that I could get at a Target or COMPUSA?

Ok...I'm going to save up for a 160 gig, or MORE hardrive, perferably external.
I'm not sure, but the computer I'm going to get from my uncle had like 15 computer games installed and like 3 hardrives, so I bet I might have enough space afterall...

Imperial guy: Thats impossible, how would the führer maintain control without the beurocracy?

Obi-Wan: We are ment to think they did. These tracks are side by side, Sand people march single file, to hide their numbers.......only German StormTroopers, could be so precise.
