Ewan was 27 when filming E1. There’s supposed to be 33 years between that and Star Wars, which would put Obi-Wan at 60.

Fun Fact: It was Kershner’s idea to have R2 on his tippy toes.
Not like I had any faith in this to begin with, but damn!
It’s pretty funny that Lucas saw Vader as a completely disposable villain and didn’t anticipate his massive popularity at all.
Also, the robe is on top of the chest armor.
Looked the chapter up online (http://www.wenovel.com/book/1500/44197.html) and there are some lines that could be relevant to TLJ.
‘You see,’ he said, still looking down at his bandages, ‘when one’s young, it seems very easy to distinguish between right and wrong, but as one gets older it becomes more difficult. At school it’s easy to pick out one’s own villains and heroes and one grows up wanting to be a hero and kill the villains.’
…
'For those two jobs I was awarded a Double O number in the Service. Felt pretty clever and got a reputation for being good and tough. A double O number in our Service means you’ve had to kill a chap in cold blood in the course of some job.
‘Now,’ he looked up again at Mathis, 'that’s all very fine. The hero kills two villains, but when the hero Le Chiffre starts to kill the villain Bond and the villain Bond knows he isn’t a villain at all, you see the other side of the medal. The villains and heroes get all mixed up.
…
History is moving pretty quickly these days and the heroes and villains keep on changing parts.
Could be hinting that morality in TLJ won’t be so black and white. Or I could be completely off-base and this has nothing to do with Casino Royale.
You can see print on the opposite side of the page. A book, perhaps?
EDIT: Hmm, quick google shows that Casino Royale has a chapter 20 titled The Nature of Evil.
Anyone here a Bond fan?
Yes. And preferably written by someone who understands normal human interaction.
You mean excising a song from a movie because it was sung by your ex isn’t considered normal human interaction?
What’s this referring to?
Not trying to argue, but I’d like a better assurance than that. It’s a nightmare scenario, and I can totally see Lucas pushing it through. After all, Disney only really cares about being able to make new movies and Lucas was always careful about having control over his films.
Is it possible Lucas retained final cut on these films in the sellout to Disney?
Yep. And it’s safe to assume the star destroyer shot first.
I’ll be sticking with the radio dramas version of the preceding events.
Isn’t that story from Edwards a bad sign?
I mean, it seems to confirm that no one is working on a theatrical restoration.
I know it’s from the PT, but don’t forget the lion statues in Naboo Palace.
My problem with all Jedi turning into ghost is that Vader seems ignorant about the whole thing.

Interesting that the new droid’s chest piece looks like Dengar’s chest armor.
Few pages late, but I just wanted to point out that Dengar’s armour is repainted Snowtrooper armour, so it makes sense.
Gee, can smoke lizard and duracell make about another few dozen spaz post about this movie? I’m still not sure if they like it or not.
Tell me about the lightsaber colors, George.
Jodorowky’s ego was nauseating. He didn’t even bother reading the book and his planned ending shows it. It’s just as bad as Lynch’s, and misses the point completely.
Hint: Paul isn’t really a messiah, he’s just playing the part.
Trying to get Dali and Orson on board was a farce.
Isn’t that literally Han’s character arc, though?
He’s not actually a “good guy” until he helps blow up the death star.

Whoops forgot it is not in ROTJ so it's in 4 films soon to be in 5 of the films.
It wasn't in Attack of the Clones, either.
You see more of Mayhew's eye lid in the old mask.
Still better than the RotS costume, which was pretty off.

I have a feeling we need someone to convince the Mouse to do this at some point, much like it took the influence of Spielberg to get Coppola's proposition to restore The Godfather films at Paramount.
Perhaps if some of the current production could voice some thoughts...?
I'd like to think Abram's is on our side. He at least has Kennedy's ear.
Rian Johnson has outright stated that he doesn't like the special editions and wants the originals released.

Anyone else notice there's a creepier, fainter voice that repeats Luke's lines just after he does? Hmmmm....
I think it's Yoda, also taken from Return of the Jedi.
What? No it isn't.

My bad. Was unaware.
