I hadn’t but only because I never thought about it before, because I don’t care.

Thanks for your repeated opinion, Mala.

Oh, wait…

… Well… at least that was funny !

(still, I insist on the missing accent on the second a)

Also my opinion.

MiniMalà.

… I’m so moved right now I could cry…

I’m too lazy and too American to accent letters.

It’s time to make americans great again !

Tyr and I are already great.

Ultimate greatness is never achieved. You need to great harder.

I’d watch a movie with that tagline.

I already knew about pre TFA stuff being non canon now. I thought they stopped accepting non movies as canon now too tho. I guess not. I am worried that wierd things will slip through and the canon is gonna get messed up again.

Oh yeah, no not at all. Weird things are definitely slipping through already. I was hoping they’d be a lot more stringent about what made it in and what they denied, but it seems like it’s still a free-for-all, just with better structure and cohesion.

JEDIT: Yeah, see above post.

They changed what is considered canon officially now? Thank God. I knew allowing various authors the ability to write canon would be bad unless they really policed them, like they do in Star Trek.

They have, yes. Basically everything created before The Force Awakens came out (with a few exceptions like the first six films, The Clone Wars TV series, and a few short stories leading up to TFA) has been relegated to “Legends” status, which is all still available, but no longer canon, regardless of its previous “canonical level”.

Everything created after The Force Awakens is all top-level canon, which means that all of it is as canon as the movies. There is now a group of people at LucasFilm called the “Story Group” that have final say in whether or not a story or project is created as well as input in the creation of new stories.

However, as far as a lot of people are concerned, the Story Group’s judgement isn’t amazing and the state of the New Expanded Universe isn’t too much better right now than the Old Expanded Universe.

Yeah, I’ll take another look. “Alter the deal” is tough because we all know he says “altering the deal” and that was the best I could do without including the “ing.” Bit of a bummer because it’s such a great directive.

Anyone else having trouble with that line?

Nope, plain as day for me.

I understood it pretty well, but I also know the lines like the back of my hand.

Christ almighty man…then he goes to defeat Darth Vader AND Sidious. Mary Sue/Gary Stu/Bary Flu doesn’t even describe it.

Yeah. That’s not how the Force works.

They were fun to play, I will give them that. But boy if you even stop to think about the story and its implications on Star Wars in general, your brain will melt out through your ears.

I think Luuke skywalker was a pretty good example. The name alone shows how lazy the writers were. I wouldn’t be suprised if it’s pronounced the same as Luke Skywalker. Should have just called him Louk Skywalker. Why did they give him the same last name? He ain’t in the same family right?

Spoilers: Luuke is a clone of Luke. For some dumb reason, Timothy Zahn decided that clones should have an extra vowel in their names. I think they pronounce it with a long “U” sound.

Are you gonna smash the hot blue alien chick so hard?

Not as hard as Daisy but the blue alien chick is sexy as hell.

Someday, when (if) you grow up, you will (might) look back in shame at your posts (probably not).

I’m proud to appreciate the beauty of women. I basically used such strong terms in describing Ridleys hotness to counteract the equally harsh words of Malastrana towards Ridley. Me and Haseo are defending the beauty of a wonderful actress because Malastrana was being very rude to her. Daisy deserves best.

Daisy does deserve best - but saying you want to “smash” someone “so hard” is an extremely aggressive and crude thing to say. Lets be honest, you can’t justify your words with ‘appreciating women’s beauty’.
No shot at you Darthrush, just your words!

Yeah, there’s just something about the mental imagery of a brutal smashing that doesn’t quite align with “appreciation of beauty”.

in my dream from last night, I was on a boat, when suddenly I dropped my phone and it slid across the deck at an incredible speed and fell into the ocean (the spot it landed at was about 100 yards away). I also dropped all my school work in the ocean. All I had left were small grey and black plastic rectangles, and even smaller yellow and black ones.

Now that’s a classic dream!
