I miss the Iron Man music from Iron Man. I thought it was great, iconic music and it basically disappeared by IM2.
They should have established more motifs for each character and then used them combined for The Avengers films. Imagine how cool it would be to have Steve and Tony’s themes clashing in Civil War.
More things should be scored like Star Wars.

Oh hey, I just noticed the Marty Robbins in here. I grew up with that album thanks to my grandfather. It holds a special place in my heart because of that.
El Paso and Big Iron are my favorites. I think he made a follow up Western album but I doubt it’s as good.

Why take APs if you have that attitude? Drop all of them. If you think that you’re wasting time getting college classes out of the way in high school then why bother?
Exactly. But what is it that makes them “useless”? Nearly half my schedule is AP and I think they’re pretty useful classes.
Even if they’re useful purely for college credit.
Which is pretty useful. I came into school with a semester’s worth of AP credits and now I’m graduating a semester early in January and saving thousands of dollars.

Favoritism.
Had my first session with this new guy yesterday. He’s quite nice, and we’ll see how things go, he gave me a bit of homework as it were. I stopped off for pizza afterwards, and got home around 6:00. I went to bed, and good Lord, when I woke up, it was 11:00 the next day! I finally pulled myself out of bed, took a shower, and ate some food. I still feel groggy and out of it a little bit, but hopefully the food will sync up with my metabolism. The new guy is nice, and we’ll see how things go with him. My mother’s friend’s daughter is seeing a psychiatrist who can actually prescribe medication and is seeing if I can get an appointment there as well. I don’t have super high expectations or feel particularly well right now, but at least this is an attempt at something.
Set an alarm for these sorts of things. If you are having long periods of insomnia you have to be wary of the rebound and not getting things you need to do done.
Well, it hasn’t interfered with my work as of yet. But it’s burning away my days off.
Seeing another psychologist today, might have a yet another lined up who’s an actual psychiatrist who can prescribe. My nerves are about as shredded as tires after a drag race, God only knows what will happen. I’m going to try to eat in a few minutes. Slept for a long, long time, and I’ll be honest, I’d still be sleeping if it weren’t for the appointment. I’m a mess.
I don’t understand exactly what is going with you, but I do really hope you get the help you need. I’m praying for you.

It’s stupid that they decided the snowspeeder’s designation was T-47. They weren’t evacuating those, they were part of the defense. And Luke calls them “heavy equipment” which sounds much more like a generator or some kind of lifter or loader or something.
Yeah, I always hated this one and that they made the BT-16 the stupid B’omarr monk droids. Those troopers would be making idle chatter about a new type of speeder or a blaster not a weird spider droid.
But it never appears in the movie ? Only in the UE ? So… who… cares ?

Luke kinda talks to Artoo on Yavin before the Death Star attack (when the tech asks if he’d rather use another droid), but it’s a pretty simple exchange (and it kinda feels like Luke doesn’t really understand Artoo’s reply).
That’s the only one I can think of.
The big one I was thinking of was from a deleted scene, wherein Luke is watch the battle over tatooine before running off to tosche station to show his friends. He talks to the droid he’s with, but again, it’s a simple exchange of Luke trying to tell the droid to “Get it in Gear,” before leaving it for scrap. In the radio play it was expanded to a full conversation but still seems to be a little one sided.
Yeah, I always felt like most people in the Star Wars universe could get the general gist of what droids intended more than perhaps their exact meaning.
