I heard R1 is getting a comic adaptation, but not until after the Blu Ray is out in April. Why do they do this? I would think adaptations should be released before home video, otherwise it’s pretty redundant, right? Unless they insert deleted scenes into the comic, which AFAIK they didn’t do for the TFA comic (and even removed scenes, from what I’ve heard).
So they can take out all the better scenes (like the all-important “Rising Gantry TIE”) that they reshot and removed from the movie.
This is why nothing gets done in this country. It’s a zero-sum game. No compromise, no meeting in the middle, no concession, no “hrm, maybe I’m wrong about this one”. Just “I’m right and you’re not only wrong but also stupid and irredeemable.”
It’s a race to the bottom and we all lose.
I love how it’s “not compromising” when I don’t abandon my principles, but it’s just being committed when Dems refuse to give two inches on any of theirs. Why are only Conservatives expected to concede and liberals are not?

After listening to the Oxygen on TPM I’ve come to think of Duel of the Fates as more of the theme of the larger dark vs. light conflict.
Also a huge new appreciation for Anakin’s theme. It really does give you the whole character arc in one piece of music (and it dovetails nicely with Imperial March). All that music deserved a much better movie.

But it sure was a good speech.
Some of it was a bit fluffy, but there was a lot of good about uniting as a country again, respecting each other as Americans, and participating in the system.

I’ll respond at length to the posts, but new controversy: I’m having serious misgivings about the medicine prescribed. This is getting…interesting.
Make sure to let your physician know. There are other meds that may better sit with you system and be able to better help you move forward.

Yep, lots of different meds. Like therapists, it’s definitely a good idea to find one that works best with you.

Nah, I did a lot of working with print stuff in university and I can almost guarantee that’s all brand new unprinted paper that’s not been handled or run through a printer. You’d definitely see text through the back of the top sheet. Plus, no staples? Maybe three paper clips? The folders are all just unmarked and unbound? No way would professional documents of any importance be handled like that.
But there was a 16-year hiatus between Jedi and The Phantom Menace.

It was funny and different, which made it good. But it wasn’t amazing.
Yeah, I was specifically wondering about the CNN fight but I’m not surprised to hear that the media has blown it out of proportion.
He just kinda ignored the CNN guy (Jim Acosta, apparently) and did shout him down when he asked a question, but it was over quick and didn’t go anywhere.
