I'm also here to get the number of Anchorhead's coworker.

Are you trying to seduce me, Mr. Stardust?

Deepest gif ever.
Hey, I totally mentioned Kraftwerk in the first post!
The second post I just plum spaced it.
Let's not turn this into a Robot War.
Ditto.

Love that sound effect.
I disagree!
Wizard!
Coolest robots/musicians ever.
Currently going through The Sopranos with a friend. Generally I'm not much of a "TV show" person (too lazy/apathetic to keep up with a series every week), but I'm really enjoying this one.
Also eagerly anticipating season four of The Clone Wars.
Currently building a nice mid-high range computer so I can finally get back on the wagon. Excited.
It's actually a picture of nothing I made especially for this thread.
Part three of your mom was pretty good.

Oh no! Tyrphanax has discovered our secret hideout! Initiate evacuation procedures!
It's too late. I'm already in the system.
So this is the source of the lego-people...
I can't help it! I didn't choose it!

The silhouette furthest left looks like jim morrison.
The silhouette furthest left is a James, but not that one.
*edit* This has gone on long enough. At least you guys had a guess. The 3 on the left are James May, Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear.Their silhouettes appear in the intro. I made this as a prank on my brother and had to point them out when he hadn't noticed weeks later.
Dammit! I knew this!
Why oh why wasn't I here before. =(
Oh oh. I wanna play.
This has been in my profile since I joined, but here I am anyway:
I invented mine. I was tired of having dumb usernames that someone else came up with and repurposing them for my own use, so I sat down and poured over a few name lists and came up with some good potentials. One of them was Phanax, which was neat, but missing something. So I took part of the name of the most awesome dinosaur ever and the name of a Norse god and stuck it on the front.
Hence Tyrphanax.
People say it sounds like a decongestant nasal spray. It does. Oh well.
Hard Boiled.
It's amazing.

...Ok, I stay for the lolz. Which are more frequent in a loosely moderated place as mentioned above.
Ditto, word-for-word.
I just like this place. I'm an unashamed enormous Star Wars nerd. I more or less devour every bit of anything labeled "Star Wars" I can get my hands on, and I spend a lot of my free time on Wookieepedia. Star Wars has pretty much defined my life since I first saw it in '93 or '94 (yeah, I'm young).
Despite my interest in the EU and my acceptance of the official canon/timeline (for the most part), that certainly doesn't mean I'm in love with all of it. Things like my adamant hatred of Karen Traviss' Mandalorian stuff and the New Jedi Order series, and of course the fact that while I believe the PT has a mostly-sound outline but a really horrifying execution shows that I'm not a total Lucas-apologist.
Conversely, I don't totally agree with everyone here. Sometimes I'll be reading through a thread, shaking my head and thinking "Are you fucking serious?" as I'm reading about some of the nit-pickier issues that people have with Lucas. And I find it mind-boggling that some people, Anchorhead, for example, would limit their Star Wars universe so severely when I think that ESB was a masterpiece and that there's a ton of really great EU out there. But at the same time, I don't fault them for it.
This place has really opened my eyes to a lot about Star Wars fandom. I always knew that Lucas was being an ass for not releasing the and that the prequels were nowhere near as good as the OT, but I'd never considered the idea of picking and choosing canon (even though I had with the NJO and Traviss). It's just nice here. And now, because of all I've learned here, I can put my 2004 OT DVDs on the shelf and call Ady's Revisited my definitive SE version, and his theatrical reconstructions my definitive OUT.
You can also blame Tobar for me.
