My custom Star Wars Gray Jedi costume! (With backstory) - Need feedback
Time

Definitely agree with Boost that cutting out a heavier fabric in the shape of the paint and sewing it on would make it look more dynamic. You could exaggerate the paint underneath it and still get that effect as well if you wanted.

Or do like they do with Spiderman and put some kind of rigid, form-creating (usually plastic) base underneath the mask to give it a better "face" shape.

Ben Affleck cast as new Batman
Time

I always felt like Batman should be beefier than Superman, like Bingo said. Superman is supposed to look unassuming as Clark; plus it's not like he even needs muscles, he's from another planet with crazy alien super strength.

Batman however, is just a dude in a suit. He's got nothing apart from his money, his brains, and his skills as a fighter/detective. He's gotta be a big dude.

STAR WARS: REBELS (animated tv series) - a general discussion thread
Time

To me, though, Dark Jedi holds the connotation that they were once (or are currently) Jedi.

Actually, I'm not sure why I said that since I can also see it working as a layman's term for any type of dark Force user, as well as a Jedi term for a dark Force user who wasn't affiliated with the Sith.

The only reason why I don't like the people who come here and start complaining about people not liking the prequels (terrible, terrible films), is that they start to drag every thread off-topic. And I don't mean fun off-topic, I mean the same tired crap being discussed for years off-topic.

A topic most people aren't even interested in talking about, because they've moved well beyond caring about the prequels.

Just like in this thread. :(

Yeah. There's also the self-righteous, sanctimonious DOUBLE STANDARD! of lauding ourselves for being much more "welcoming" and "friendlier" than TFN, and then when someone shows up with a different opinion they have to go through the usual "uh you do know the PT sucks, right?" and "hey go back to TFN, PT-loving troll" bullshit.

Those with thick skin make it through, sure, but do we really have to haze every PT fan who comes through here? I'm sure they'll figure out themselves that 95% of posters here hate the PT when they read any one of the hundreds of threads here dedicated to PT-bashing.

I came here with a certain innocent enjoyment of the PT and defensiveness of Lucas myself as a younger man, and over my time spent here I've learned an incredible amount about Lucas and the PT and the other major players in the success of the OT and have had just about a 180-degree turnaround in regards to how I feel about both, and just look at how much Anchorhead's Star Wars universe has changed thanks to this site. I feel like it would be far more conducive to our message if we didn't automatically reply to people who enjoyed the PT and still think Lucas is the grandmaster behind all that is good in Star Wars with posts telling them to get back to shoving their noses up his rear.

I apologize for contributing to the off-topic responses of this thread, but this has been brewing for awhile now.

Yeah, unfortunately looks like they're going to go with another mindless army of enemies thing rather than one big baddie. From the looks of things, Tony (and possibly Bruce) creates Ultron by accident while attempting to further automate his suits (perhaps he's trying to give Iron Man up without letting The Avengers down or something), and Ultron replicates himself into an army.

Vision is indeed Bettany. Not sure how they'll introduce him (Ultron created him in the comics).

From what I've been able to glean from the scant info that's out there. I think it's a case where since SHIELD is now defunct Tony decides to step in and create an automated force to pick up the slack. With Ultron being a new AI he creates with the specific task of overseeing the project. Not sure how JARVIS ends up becoming Vision but I'm sure there'll be lots of tension between the two AI throughout the film.

The way I see it, either Ultron will create Vision in order to infiltrate The Avengers as he did in the comics, which would be cool because he'd be evil for awhile; or JARVIS won't trust Ultron from the beginning and Tony will continue with the project despite JARVIS' protests and so eventually JARVIS manifests himself as Vision in order to combat Ultron.

We're looking at Spiderman levels of new character creep here though, so everything has to be pretty simple. We've already got Hulk vs. Hulkbuster, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, Ultron and Vision, plus seven or so other characters to continue to develop.
