I actually considered editing my post for that, but then I decided I had come here to get away from ywhx.

I know.

The purpose of my post was to extend your joke, by making it sort of like I was yhwx, considering your referenced joke of “WHY DID I COME HERE.”

Isn’t the hole bigger because Luke just crashed through it? I guess you’re saying it’s suddenly that big before he goes out…
It would be cool to see Luke smash through!

That’s about it, the hole becomes bigger even before he gets flung out. I guess adjusting the window would’ve been easier than training Mark’s stunt double to smash through it.

Because the focus is different from one shot (Luke in the front while the window is in the background) and the second shot (Luke and the window in the same focal plane), don’t you think ?

He means the bottom part of the window is broken out in the second scene even before Luke flies through it without an explanation as to why it’s broken, not the whole window itself changing size.

The scene works. The camera flashes to Luke before he’s sucked out the window while there are still items smashing at the window. I always just figured one of those items broke through the lower part while the camera was pointed at Luke. I guess it just depends on you certain point of view.

I honestly never noticed it and now I’ll never not see it.

I find it surprisingly useful. When it started it was kind of fun. I could play scrabbulous with friends in other towns reconnect with former school and work mates but once the novelty had worn off I just used it to arrange my trips down south. When I started to look for work again about three years ago I needed references from former bosses and started using it again. I have lots of real world friends and family scattered across the globe so it’s sort of essential tech now. But it has its dangers. For example if you are surrounded by people of a like mind it can distort your view of public opinion. I got the results if the Scottish and Brexit referenda correct because I go out into the real world and listen to what people have to say but I know lots of people who only use social media to discuss such matters who were very shocked. I’m pretty outspoken on issues that I care about and this has caused ripples on the water. I have seen people with serious mental health problems use social media as a loud hailer to shout at other equally vulnerable people. I have some friends and family who are socially isolated because of illness and it helps them stay connected. So it can be good but it can be not good and it’s clearly not for everyone.

Very well-written. It’s definitely had a massive impact on society.

Don’t provide sources for random pictures. No one cares.

Yeah this is the other, larger point I was making.

Theoretically I could have linked to someone whose source of income depends on this. I don’t want to take that away.

Depends on what?

Making Star Wars art and images.

But how is not linking to the source disrupting their income?
