Ariel and Jessica Rabbit are the reason I prefer redheads over blondes and brunettes ;)

The isolated music and score track sounds like it is going to be entertaining. There have been so many differing releases of DiCola's score it will be nice to have something comprehensive.
Do you have any of them? They're rare and "hard to find" but you can find them if you know where to look ;)
There's the official soundtrack (20th anniversary remaster has bonus tracks), Lighting Their Darkest Hour, The Protoform Sessions, and probably 1 or 2 others that I'm forgetting., hehe.

One of my favorite movie scores ever. Vince Dicola FTW.
I like to contrast and compare :)

Also if you're a member of Tehparadox, kingkong650 is also doing a regrading project on the latest remastering of The Terminator: tehparadox.com
Thanks for the link!! That project looks very titillating.
This is a great thread. Thank you for starting it. Does Blade Runner belong on this list? I think I can remember seeing both the directors cut and the final cut on cable at the same time and that the directors cut had a very "red" tone to it, while the final cut had, of course, the teal tone.
Also, almost every Chris Reeve Superman blu-ray suffers from the teal color, as well as the contrast being way overdone. With the exception of the extended cut of part 1, and the Donner Cut of part 2. Here's a side-by-side for S2. This youtube page has done all 4 movies:
Thank you zeropc for the Terminator mono soundtrack. I made my dvd and had no trouble getting it to synch up. No more watching the vhs copy for me!!
The link didn't work, but I'll take your words for it. Thanks for the info!!
Another one that got a very odd re-time is Michael Jackson's Moonwalker. The bluray (which was only released in european markets but is region free and can be ordered to North America) its timed to be VERY cold. The detail level is very high, and its especially nice to see some of the old videos (namely Thriller) in HD since they have yet to get proper remasters, but the blue colour cast is distracting.
They may have remastered the pq, but it wasn't the entire picture. Do a side-by-side comparison of the old tapes (or dvd) and you'll see that they zoomed in the fullscreen video until it fit the entire widescreen window.

Such a shame. All that time, money and effort goes into making those sets and costumes to provide a visual depiction for us, and it's partially lost due to laziness (and greed) in the editing rooms years later.
Man, that shot of Arnie is insane. I've never said this about ANY blu-ray film quality before but, it really looks like he could step outta my screen!!
Oh man, those screencaps are glorious!! GREAT JOB!! THIS is how blu-rays should look.

I am redoing the audio because I have learned a lot since my first attempt, this new software and method will make this sound way, way better, hell I re did the Conan audio and it was a huge difference! so yes there will be an all new PCM track and we are going to re do the color timing on the new remastered BD as well as T2, so stay tuned.
Thanks for all the interest guys!
AWESOME!!! Thank you for your dedication. Can't wait!!
So, since there's a good version of the original soundtrack, any chance for someone to edit the color to the new blu-ray and bring the picture back to its original timing?
