They had multiple X-rays that they purposefully disregarded and then completely ignored their patient's pleas that he had special medical needs.

So I watched Doctor Who (1996)....YIKES.

I thought overall, it was directed very competently. It maintained an excellent pace and never drags. The motorcycle chase was also pretty good.

It was great that McCoy was willing to come back to give his Doctor a proper sendoff.Though I think they were pretty brutal about the way he goes out. First shot up needlessly by a gang and then horrifically butchered on an operating table by incompetent surgeons.

There was some good dialog spattered about but the majority of the script was an utter mess. The story has a clear through line but the events surrounding it and a lot of the story elements didn't jive at all with the series.

And what they did with the Master was a complete travesty. Basically the only good thing to come out of it was the Eighth Doctor.

The rest disturbed me so that I needed a palate cleanser and so I've been reading The Eight Doctors by Terrance Dicks. I'm about a third of the way through it now and it's been an excellent read. Provides great insight into the Doctor's mind at various points in his lives. Definitely recommend it if you've wanted some reconciliation after the movie.

The clip looks pretty good but I noticed there's some artifacting going on as Luke stands up from the dinner table. As he stands up the metal bits on the two rear pouches on his belt as well as on the side of his chair flicker as if an automated scratch remover thought they were dirt and tried to remove them. This is at about 1:36.

People in this thread are greatly underestimating the demand for OOT. When the digital release was announced the comment sections of various sites were filled with, "If it's not the original versions, I'm not buying!" as well as, "If you guys want to see the real deal google Harmy!" All from tons of people whose names I certainly didn't recognize from around these parts.

I haven't checked yet but I wouldn't be surprised if the same holds true for the comments sections for articles about this latest rumor.

Whelp, I've finally completed my journey through the classic series. I thought I would absolutely despise the Sixth Doctor but he turned out alright. Though I still hate his outfit. I actually incorporated the audio stories lost season 23 that would have happened if the show hadn't gone on hiatus before venturing into the Trial of a Timelord. It gave me some more time with the Doctor and helped to flesh out Peri. Definitely recommend it.

Going back to the series proper, I found the Seventh Doctor not too bad either. Though a bit too dark and conniving. Though perhaps not as much as I'd been led to believe. But ugh, man. What a note to end on. Cheetah People? An utter travesty.

Now that I've finished the series, I'm now making my way through the lost season 27 audio stories. After which I will then move onto the TV movie. It was actually the first Doctor Who thing I ever saw and probably what put me off the franchise for decades. =P But it's been so long I don't remember a thing about it. So it'll be like watching it for the first time.

After that I will then dive into the numerous Eighth Doctor audio stories that he embarked upon during the series hiatus before I finally begin the new series.

That all said, I'm glad I finally decided to give the franchise a go. Troughton will forever be my favorite Doctor.

Yeah, I've been waiting for some new beeps for a while. Every other astromech unit since has had their own unique voice.

'Star Trek: Voyager' actress accused of indecent exposure, Tennessee TV station reports

A former actress in the "Star Trek" franchise was arrested this month in Tennessee, accused of indecent exposure in the presence of a neighbor's minor children, Knoxville TV station WATE reports.

The Roane County Sheriff's Office website confirmed that Jennifer Lien, who played the alien medical assistant Kes for the first three seasons of "Star Trek: Voyager," was booked with indecent exposure on Sept. 3. The bond for Lien, who lives in Harriman, Tenn., was set at $2,500, the records show.

According to the report, Lien left her front door open and was naked under a blanket on her couch when sheriff's deputies arrived with a warrant for her arrest, alleging an earlier incident of indecent exposure to a neighbor's children outside her home. The report said Lien refused to get dressed or walk to the patrol car, and had to be carried by deputies.

 The Story Group oversees everything including the films.

I didn't see them complaining when the EU overwrote DROIDS which had A-Wings pre-ANH. The Rebellion is a large organization with many different cells. The main fleet is mostly composed of X-Wings. That there are different cells with access to different ships makes sense on a galactic scale. The Battle of Endor saw the gathering of many different cells into one massive fleet to take on the Second Death Star.

That is very clearly tiny headed ROTS Vader. It's a shame Phasma didn't get a full stamp to herself. I really dig that design.

Hopefully if they do reintroduce the Unknown Regions it is significantly reduced in size. Instead of being on the border of Coruscant it could be one of the spiral arms of the galaxy.
