Well, just remember that “close” is quite relative when dealing with a map that covers an entire galaxy.

Yeah, I get that. It is just further shrinks the Star Wars galaxy. I understand the need to have Scarif near Tatooine in order for the events of ANH to kick off.

In AOTC, Obi-Wan’s long range transmitter is damaged and so he can’t contact Coruscant directly. Instead he reaches out to Anakin on Naboo to retransmit his message for him. Except, Anakin isn’t on Naboo but Tatooine. This places both systems within range of Geonosis.

Nien Nunb might be in Rogue One.

He is Lando’s alien co-pilot in Return of the Jedi.

It seems unlikely that well see any Sullustans in RO as they canonically (in both btw) only joined the Rebel Alliance shortly before the Battle of Endor.

That wouldn’t have much affect on when individual members of the species joined the Rebellion. For example, in the Legends canon it was a Sullustan that scouted out Yavin IV before it became the home of the hidden Rebel base.

That aside, the thing that discredits the idea that Nien Nunb is in Rogue One is the fact that at that time he was still a smuggler in the current canon. Which was revealed in a Marvel comic back in June of last year.

Luckily my screening was free from any technical difficulties.

The story was solid. Patrick Troughton has always been my favorite Doctor since my first run through of the series.

I’m a little disappointed in the animation studios efforts here. You could tell they were working with a very small budget and during the little featurette after the show they mentioned how they were working under extreme time constraints to get it done by the deadline.

I wish they had brought back the studio that did The Tenth Planet. Their character designs were a little too anime-y but their layouts, use of lighting and animation was pretty great at times.

In contrast, the effort here for Power left a lot wanting. Their backgrounds and the Daleks were great though.

But it’s serviceable and the story can now be watched in at least some form now.
