Eh, I enjoyed the adventures of Young Indiana Jones:

The Han Solo spinoff is no different.

Wow. Great story, sad that it’s a true one.
Am I really the only one who LOVES the greens?
Nope, I love’m too. 😃

Yeah, it’s odd that they never brought him back in the PT but did for The Clone Wars.
You guys forget how much of a special case Star Wars is. The dvds for things like Droids and the Ewok films go for hundreds of dollars on the second hand market.
A boxset packed with special features for the OUT? They could and probably would set the price in the hundreds.
Yeah, I’d recommend you find something else to occupy your time and check back in 10 years.

Not sure if the spoiler policy is still in effect so I’ll just drop this here. Someone made an RO poster in the style of TFA’s:

I enjoyed La La Land. Found it quite charming but I don’t think it quite deserves all of the lavish praise it’s been getting.
This is probably because I went on a Fred Astaire binge a couple years back, but I found La La Land’s execution quite clumsy a lot of the time.
It was a decent effort and I hope it leads to at least a small revival of the genre. Though hopefully they’ll strive to match the artistry and skill of the past in the future.
I wonder if it will begin with a pan down to the planet.
Rogue One didn’t require a thorough understanding of the OT in order to enjoy it. There have been multiple reports of it being people’s first experience with the franchise and subsequently being enthusiastic about continuing into its “sequel.”
As for when the other standalones might be set. It just happens to be that pre-SW is a very handy period of time to set stories, especially about pre-existing characters.
This is not the post you are looking for…
We’re definitely going to pick up right after TFA ended. But I highly doubt they’d do that before the crawl. I suspect they might even open it with a scene depicting Hux delivering Kylo to Snoke.
Yeah, Colonial Marines should have ended with a consumer lawsuit. Now, if you want a proper Alien experience, I can’t recommend highly enough Alien: Isolation. Completely different studio that actually revered the source material and knocked it out of the galaxy with a game that continues on and embodies the spirit of the original film.
Nope, but here they remind you about no phones during the film and if you’re being disruptive they will ask you to leave.
left about 10 minutes into it because literally everyone else was on their phone. The girl next to them was just watching YouTube. They got their money back and the manager said this is just what happens during movies like this.
That’s ridiculous and an indictment of extremely poor management. That would never be tolerated at my local theaters.
It’s a fact that you do.
😉

☝️ Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater!
I take it that means the film will be very Luke-centric. Which we already knew but this emphasizes it. The red is very evocative, one hopes that isn’t a hint at his death.
Something else to keep in mind, Jedi is both singular and plural.
I…guess I’m okay with that title. Hmmm.
Had that been a shelf of the WEG source books and the various Star Wars guides over the years you might have something.
…bland voice acting for Han and Obi-Wan and the downright terrible voice acting for Vader.
Can’t stand Han, guy sounds like a total loser trying to sound cool.
