I’ve been waiting literal years for Routine.
I’ve been waiting literal years for Routine.
THIS IS NOT THE POST YOU ARE LOOKING FOR.
MOVE ALONG, MOVE ALONG.
And since Han and Fett have knew each other prior to ANH, they might bring back Alden Ehrenreich as well.
I keep hearing fans say this and state it as a matter of fact. That there’s some great rivalry between the two or whatever. But there’s no evidence of that at all in either ESB or ROTJ. Just going off the films alone it would seem Boba Fett was just doing the job he was hired to. Heck, and while it’s canonicity is questionable, his very first appearance clearly depicts Han as having no idea who Boba Fett is.
I find it amusing that they mentioned Teräs Käsi, considering how generally negative opinions are about that game(though I guess that might be part of the joke). (Did anyone else get the impression that the EU stuff might be Jon Kasdan’s work?)
Teräs Käsi as a martial art has spread out quite a bit into other projects since its initial introduction. Though it did get a laugh out of me in the theater. And yeah, I think all the EU stuff was Jon mixed with some consultation with the Story Group.
Blu-ray.com is my go to for reviews of new home video releases.
I wish Maul had been a real actor 'cause it seemed he was CGI, right ?
What? That was Ray Park, the original actor, dubbed over with Sam Witwer’s voice.
I would only do the following:
without seeing a single frame of the movie lets see if i can predict the whole plot
solo goes to sign up for the empire gets rejected. Then goes to a bar finds emila clarks charcter they tell us over dialogue that the gangster has hired them to run the kissle run so emila says i know a guy cut to lando. They get the crew togther after that get in the falcon run into a copule small issues and emilas charcter betrays the group. i can’t forget the c3po cameo.
Really ? Haven’t you heard that in Solo there
Spider-Man 3 (2007) (Editor’s Cut) - Not bad. It’s sloppy and often downright ridiculous, but there’s enough heart in it to win me over.
imo it is sometimes better than homecoming.
No.
I think he was replying to my tweet in which I said it was better than Homecoming… which it is, imo…
I’m a 3 fan, but it’s not even close. There’s literally nothing about it that is better.
Just found this. How’s this for an alternate ending? 😉
King Kong (1933)
Hadn’t seen this in years. Still the best monster film ever made. I was surprised by how visceral this film still is. They don’t pull the punches for any of the deaths in this film. You see people as they hit the ground after falling from great heights, stomped to death, eaten. The art design in this film is still gorgeous. The island is eerily beautiful. Willis O’Brien truly was a master of his craft, imbuing Kong with a real personality. Kong was a better actor than some of the human cast. The only downside to this film was how exploitative it was, Kong was naked throughout the film’s entire runtime!
The Luke scene is very important. Rian’s excuses for cutting it make no sense.
I missed why you’re opposed to cutting to Leia as was intended?
Trollhunters Parts 1&2 (2016-2017)
Wonderful series from Guillermo del Toro. A solid adventure with fun characters and excellent performances. It’s always nice to find a series that knows where it’s going and steadily marches toward its goal. Anton Yelchin is great as the main protagonist Jim Lake. It’s a shame he’s not here to see the success of the series or to see it to the end. It’ll be strange hearing Emile Hirsch in the role for the final season. The supporting cast is packed with excellent performers: Kelsey Grammer, Mark Hamill, Ron Perlman, Clancy Brown, Anjelica Huston, etc. Great series, definitely recommend it.
Mobile Suit Gundam (1979-1980)
While it’s apparent they started off not knowing where to take things, over the course of the journey they find their way and finish with a solid series worthy of its acclaim.
Since most of the latter two prequels are CG anyway, you could probably get a pretty decent 4K image if you redid it all. Of course the actors would still look not so great.
This legitimately creeps me out.
Me too. But I was saying in some years they’ll be able to remake the entire prequel trilogy with CGI Hayden if they want to.
Can they just replace him with Matt Lanter?
Yes please!

S2 • E14 - Traps and Tribulations
Luke and Leia (with the aid of a lightsaber) help Kneesaa and Wicket stop a rampaging Gorax by resetting the Ewok’s traps.
I had to immediately jump to this one. LOVED IT.
pls no
Well it is a scene completely out of context.
there’s no rule that says a movie has to adhere to anything EU-related
Well, technically there is. (To a certain degree anyway).
More a guideline than actual rule.
True. All I meant is that they can’t contradict it. And of course Saw Gerrera in RO was an EU character. And there’s going to be a few of them in Solo as well.
Clone Wars has always been canon. Pretty sure Saw was actually a George creation, Saw was supposedly supposed to turn up in the cancelled live action series Underworld.
True, but isn’t one of the “crew” in Solo originally from the new Marvel comics series?EDIT; Never mind. I was thinking of a very similar character.
It should have been her, I don’t know why they created a new character. I love that the Cloud-Riders from the original Marvel run make an appearance though.

A better example would be Quinlan Vos and the Black Sun appearing in Clone Wars.
