It’s amazing that a simple regrade can fix those awful saber blades.

Temiri Blagg
Why do Star Wars names have to be so blagg?
FTFY
Frankly, these days you’re legitimately better off buying a pre-made system. Individual parts costs are through the roof and so it’s actually cheaper to buy pre-made now.
Or you know…you could recommend they switch to classic graphics when playing the SE. =P
SE Guybrush is an abomination that thankfully can be ignored with a button press.
O_o Why would you recommend Curse before Secret of Monkey Island?
I’m still surprised by how many people misinterpret Qi’ra’s actions at the end of the movie.
She isn’t betraying Han, she’s protecting him.
She works for Darth Maul, if he ever caught wind of Han he’d kill him without a second thought. Notice in that scene she purposely avoids any mention of Han to Maul.
There is nowhere they could go that they’d be safe. Qi’ra knows this and so she leaves to save his life.
The Star Trek franchise had a bedrock production team that worked on every series from TNG through to Enterprise. It was a family.
When it came time to do Discovery they approached CBS to let them know they were ready and willing to continue. CBS response was “your services are not required.”
It never fails to amaze me just how utterly terrible the blu-ray looks. Great work as always Ady!
Let’s see…shows I watched when I was a wee lad:
[Here it is for anyone interested.]
Moderator Edit - No, it isn’t. Link removed.
Do not post links to leaked or unreleased footage from films and tv episodes etc on the site - thank you.
Hey Cap, just curious, what model of printer do you use?
I don’t think Frink would be a fan of Enterprise. The first couple seasons kind of creep me out, it always felt like the focus was what compromising situation can we put T’Pol in this week? Thankfully they eventually broke away from that but it marred the series for me.
The movie is fine. Not bad, not good. Just fine.
Worst movie ever? Worse than the Holiday Special? You’re insane.
At least I can derive some entertainment from the Holiday Special.
I have no words:

I really hope their will be deleted scenes.
Jon Kasdan has said that they’re definitely including the scene he and his dad were in.

Hilariously good cover for a hilariously bad movie.
Won’t You Be My Neighbor? (2018)
It was a pretty good turn out for 3pm in the afternoon on a Thursday.
Did you have to buy tickets in advance? Or were they pretty available?
I showed up about an hour early and grabbed my ticket at the box office.
I’m a huge fan of Guillermo so I wanted to love The Shape of Water but I just couldn’t. Far too perverse.
TREMORS 5: Bloodlines (2015)
I was really worried about this one. Universal cut off contact with the original creators of the franchise and went rogue with this one. Luckily the filmmaker they hired had a huge amount of respect for the franchise and leaned on Michael Gross to make sure the film paid proper homage to the property. Ended up with a pretty decent flick. I’m not a fan of redesigning the classic creature but for this story it worked.
TREMORS 6: A Cold Day in Hell (2018)
After the success of Bloodlines I had hopes that this would at least live up to that level of quality. Unfortunately it did not. Some truly awful writing this go around. After managing to turn out decently in the last film, Jamie Kennedy is easily the worst element of this film. It also saw the return of the new graboid design which was definitely less excusable this go around. Michael Gross is the only redeeming part of this entry.
TREMORS Pilot (2018)
So, so glad this was not picked up for series. This is the very definition of a vanity project. Bacon and his crew clearly had no respect for the franchise’s history or legacy. Was going to introduce yet another graboid redesign, this one crossing miles over the line of acceptable deviation of the original. Truly awful.
2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
Caught the second to last showing before the 70mm run was over. So glad I got the chance. Spectacular.
Should I try watching Discovery? I’ve heard the most horrid things, and I’m a huge fan of TOS.
Treasure Island (1950)
Been playing a lot of Sea of Thieves of late. It got me in a very piratey mood. So what better way to indulge than to partake in a classic? This was Disney’s first ever live action film and it’s a great one. If you’ve never seen it, I recommend it!
