Easy A also has references to 80s John Hughes films, of which I have never seen before
(I dig 80s movies.).
Does not compute. John Hughes is the 80's.

The prequels unfortunately set up the obvious question, why not take Luke or Leia to Dagobah and train them for the next twenty years?
Would you trust this to raise two newborns in a swamp?

The etc. is in reference to video sites. We have the General Random Star Wars Thoughts thread for non-video related StarWarsiness.
Played a good bit of Spartan Ops now. It's okay. The pre-rendered cutscenes are neat but the gameplay bits aren't anything to write home about. We'll see where the story goes.
Also, I'll just post this here as I have no idea where else it should go. =P
There's also no video...

SomeBODY! I always get that wrong!
You got what was said right. The captions differ.
I was thinking about it but I didn't have the time to devote to a proper photoshop job. =P
WHAT HAPPEN?

I hope it's an adventure movie, like Star Wars.
This.

One movie every 2-3 years? Try 2-3 movies produced EVERY YEAR.
Yeah but you have to remember Kathleen is not a Star Wars nut. She's a respected and legitimate producer. When they very first announced that George was stepping down back in June, Kathleen expressed then that she wanted to make movies. None of us assumed then that she meant Star Wars movies and likewise now, I doubt that's what she means here. I think we're going to start to see Lucasfilm branch out and become more diverse in their film catalog.
First ‘Prometheus’ Writer Admits the Film Was Originally ‘Alien: Engineers’
Wreck-It Ralph (2012)
Wonderful film. It has a lot of easter eggs and shout outs to arcade history. It even has a character based on Walter Day! I also loved the animated short Paperman before the film as well.
Quantum of Solace (2008)
Not bad. Not brilliant but it had a nice pace to it. Still the most ridiculous title.
Skyfall (2012)
Now that's what I'm talking about! Took them three films but they're finally regaining their stride.

There's one questionsurprisingly no one asked about all this huge news... which is who the villain/antihero would be.
This is the guy who gets my vote:
Dude even had his own awesome troops. I always felt bad for him because his first appearance was never finished and he was then forgotten for decades.

Why for Sans Wars*? I really liked it and C3PX played at least 10 minutes of it before he gave up.
I tried the demo, it was okay. I've never been an RTS person. So I watched all of the cutscenes on Youtube. =P
Halo 4 is awesome! Graphically it was far and above the pretty cartoony 3. I've always thought there was a bit of relation between Halo and Mass Effect. Mostly creature design wise. These new graphics bring them a lot closer together. The main villain in this is CREEPY.
Story was pretty interesting. I'm glad to see it fits in with all of the pre-established canon perfectly. The dialog was okay, it seemed to be lacking the wit that was common in the others. But then again this was a bit of a darker story.
Gameplay was good. The new default control scheme is pants though. I'm glad you can get pretty close to 3's controls with the Recon layout. Multiplayer is great and pretty addictive. Haven't tried Spartan Ops yet, waiting for when my friend is available.
Overall 343 did a fantastic job and I'm looking forward to the rest of the new trilogy.
Casino Royale (2006)
I have to say, it was better than I expected. I saw it when it first came out but I only had the vaguest of recollections of it. Though I will say that after the first 20 minutes or so I was ready to write it off as a good action flick but not what I'd call a Bond film. Then it got better. It's interesting, Craig's Bond. Lots of anger there but there are still glimmers of the Bond we know.
I'm kind of dreading watching Quantum of Solace, it like Royale I barely recall but I do remember being bored to tears. But Skyfall is tomorrow night so looks like I'll have to bite the bullet.
So this was made... (caution strong language)
I think we can guess where he stands.
Die Another Day (2002)
Opening theme by Madonna? UGH. This movie had its moments. The Korean imprisonment, Cuba, the sword fight. Outside of that though...eesh. They went way over the top with the outlandish tech it was ridiculous. I've never been a fan of Halle Berry and the whole "your momma" line was just terrible. Good action but overall pretty disappointing.
Finished Halo 3: ODST a couple days ago. That was pretty fun. I loved the noir atmosphere to it all. Though I'm still miffed that I somehow missed the last one or two audio logs.
I was hoping to have finished all of the preceding games (sans Wars) before Halo 4 came out but it doesn't look like that's going to be happening. Reach barely arrived in the mail today. Ah well, will definitely be pulling an all-nighter tonight on 4.

I understand that most people want to play as a Jedi, but if we were allowed a choice in 1990s, why can't I get a game today sans Jedi?
I guess you haven't been following Star Wars 1313 or played Republic Commando or Bounty Hunter.

whenever I think of SW outside of the OT and its potential, i'll always think back to when I saw that trailer for SW Galaxies and how moved I was (i wish I could find it again).
Hate to bring up the prequels but they're like the Gungan shields in TPM. They're designed to stop fast moving projectiles while slower objects can still pass through.
