Hmm?
O_o This topic fits just fine in this section.
Anyway, there was an old interview with George floating around for a while before he made Star Wars. It's probably not the one you're after though. I wanna say that one was from around '74....
Elysium now has a trailer!

Does anybody know what/who "Sith" really is supposed to be in Star Wars? I know episode 3 was called "Revenge Of Sith" but I don't know what that's referring to and I never really cared. Then I read in the Ep. 7 thread that someone doesn't want "any more Sith in the movies!" and I suddenly realized that I didn't know Sith was ever even in the movies. Can anybody clear this one up for me?
DARTH MAUL : At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge.
DARTH SIDIOUS : You have been well trained, my young apprentice, they will be no match for you. It is too late for them to stop us now. Everything is going as planned. The Republic will soon be in my command.
...
MACE WINDU : There is no doubt. The mysterious warrior was a Sith.
YODA : Always two there are....no more...no less. A master and an apprentice.
MACE WINDU : But which one was destroyed, the master or the apprentice?
I like Wiki of the Whills....
Personally if I were starting a Star Wars wiki I'd name it Mistress Mnemos but that doesn't exactly lend itself to a behind the scenes wiki. =P

I know it will take place at some untouched timeframe, but what does that mean? The only virgin Star Wars times are what, at least 150 years post ROTJ?
They said in a time not yet covered by film or television. Which is why I think it'll be a tie-in series to the new trilogy.

I liked Force Unleashed. I don't think the story fits into any canon very well... but it was a good time regardless.
The first one does. It puts a twist on the birth of the Alliance and ties itself up nicely. The second however is.....best forgotten.
It's actually pretty good. I'm hoping it's still there. It's been a few years since I've been in there and they built a whole new library so I hope they kept their tape collection intact.
I don't think I can accurately describe how depressing and upsetting this news is. ='(
The Holiday Special has been available at my local community college for decades. That's how I discovered the Special's existence. I'm still not sure which version it is.
Actually....Disney has been selling Star Wars themed merchandise for years now. You can thank Star Tours for that. =P
I would find that curious too if they actually did. I don't think they do. Since one of his species was on the council.
Also, I do hope they leave Fett out of it given that they'll end up using Temuera Morrison's voice for him. Ugh...
Dang! That's awesome but I always had a dream of someday turning one of those early scripts into an animated feature. Of course I'd first have to learn how to animate.....and draw. =P Anyway, this further proves they need to keep Star Wars with Dark Horse.

Issue #127 (February 1988) has an interview with Lucas where he briefly touches on his ideas for a prequel and sequel trilogy.
It also has a nice article about Kathleen Kennedy.

and George ended up nicking the idea.
Fixed that for you. Even Dave the main show runner for the Clone Wars told him, "But...you killed him. Remember?"
While I highly doubt George has ever bothered to get into the Star Wars novels. It's a pretty safe bet he gets a kick out of the comics. What with his incorporating Aayla Secura into AOTC and the throw away line about Quinlan Vos in ROTS.
I think Franco did an okay job as the wizard. Though that role really needed to be played by someone who could be bigger than life. The same with Kunis, she was beautiful but her voice was all wrong and she has too round a face for the major part of the role.
Star Trek: Voyager (1995-2001)
This show was really hit and miss. Seasons 1 and 2 were very bland. Season 3 was an improvement. Seasons 4 and 5 were good and then it fell apart in season 6. The last season was okay. Except for the finale. That was garbage. I haven't seen a worse ending since Mass Effect 3. That show really needed a guide. Instead it just kind of wandered all over.

Small article at Empire. Nothing new.
I wouldn't say this is nothing:
"There are infinitely more questions than answers right now, but to me, they’re not that dissimilar. Though I came at these both from very different places, where they both meet is a place of ‘Ooh, that’s really exciting.’ And even though I was never a Star Trek fan, I felt like there was a version of it that would make me excited, that I would think ‘that’s cool, that feels right, I actually would want to see that.
How we were going to get there, what the choices were going to be, who was going to be in it – all of those things I knew would have to be figured out, but it was all based on a foundation of this indescribable, guttural passion for something that could be. It’s a similar feeling that I have with Star Wars. I feel like I can identify a hunger for what I would want to see again and that is an incredibly exciting place to begin a project. The movies, the worlds could not be more different but that feeling that there’s something amazing here is the thing that they share.”

I don't know why so many fans are having problem with Luke and Leia being siblings.
And the kiss in ESB really isn't any kind of romantic kiss. It is basically just an angry reaction from Leia to shut up Han.
1. It wasn't planned. It was a band-aid after Lucas decided he was going to quit after ROTJ.
2. Luke has had a thing for Leia since SW77. Even going so far as to play on her sympathies to get more smooches on at least two occasions. =P

The Punisher (2004)
I really liked this film, and I wish more comic books films were made this way. The character development was well done, and I loved how Castle manipulated the Saints and their people into doing his job for him. It's a shame Thomas Jane never got to reprise his role in a sequel; I'd definately would have loved to see where they would have gone with his story.

Did you order one Tobar? I know you're all over Kickstarter and Indiegogo, etc.
Nah, I didn't have that kind of cheddar at the time. Nor do I at the moment for that matter. BUT SOME DAY....
I am so excited for the Rift. Have you guys seen the videos of that dude who has combined the Rift with a separate weapon peripheral so your sight and aiming are independent?
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993-1999)
I came into the show late when it originally aired and only caught a few. I had no idea what was going on and didn't bother to stay with it. Now I wish I had caught the whole thing from the beginning. This was a great show and a breath of fresh air. It made TNG feel cold and impersonal in comparison. The series finale was really bittersweet. This is definitely my favorite series after TOS.
