I'd title the piece, "Time For Our Sorrow"
I'd title the piece, "Time For Our Sorrow"
I wonder if it's meant to depict a quiet moment after the medal ceremony where she can finally grieve for Alderaan.
He mostly wears it for public appearances. He thinks when he takes it off at conventions that he can disappear into the crowd. =P
What We Do In The Shadows (2014)
Hilarious Kiwi mockumentary about vampires. The filmmakers just completed a kickstarter to get a limited release run in theaters across the US. Definitely recommend you check your local listings to see if it's playing in your area.
New trailer for Age of Ultron is out.
Welp, I haven't had a chance to watch the new Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. but I saw that they've brought back the limited run posters. Here's the first:

Definitely looking forward to checking out the new ep!

I don't get it, they've routinely posted episodes online anywhere from a day to a week early, but for this it's a day late?
As for this, they announced last week when they released the Rebel Recon that the streaming version would be delayed until after broadcast so as not to spoil a bunch of people like what happened to poor SilverWook.
Speaking of which, here's the complete list of Rebel Recons for each episode:
Make sure you've seen the episode in question as they don't hold back on spoilers.
This is originally sourced from Latino Review so take that as you will but:
The Amazing Spider-Man experiment is officially over. Latino Review has confirmed through a source at Sony Pictures that Drew Goddard — long rumored to join the series’ creative team — will both write and direct the upcoming reboot of the Spider-Man franchise. The series is named SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN after the comic series of the same name. Allegedly, it will contain three films and will be released over consecutive summers.
Key things to look for in the new series
- No new origin story, Spidey exists from the beginning, taken as a given
- New actor, probably an unknown, he will be specifically based in High School and they want him to be able to grow up into the role. The thought being if this works, Spidey can do multiple trilogies for years ala Harry Potter.
- A major part of the first film will involve Spider- Man fighting Iron Man and then trying to pass the “audition” to join the Avengers
- The first film will involved the Sinister Six coming together with the thought to later maybe spin them off.
IF TRUE THIS SOUNDS AMAZING, sorry, SPECTACULAR!

Man! The opening was over the top cartoony but after that it was firing on all repulsors! This series is going places and I can't wait for season two! Definitely looking forward to catching the first ep at Celebration!
Oh, and looks like someone called it:

Sounds like Lucasfilm and its Story Group are the ones calling the shots to me.
As for how the show has been going so far. It seems plain to me that these first episodes are all about introducing you to the characters, who they are and what drives them:
- Spark of Rebellion introduced Ezra and we got to meet the rest of the crew through his eyes.
- Droids in Distress setup a connection between our motley crew and one of the more famous founders of the Rebel Alliance. Expect this to pay off way later.
- Fighter Flight was about the dynamic between Ezra, Zeb and Chopper.
- Rise of the Old Masters touched on Kanan and his insecurities about his ability to train others. As well as introducing the Inquisitor.
- Breaking Ranks introduced another future series regular and revealed some of what the Inquisitor has been up to.
- Out of Darkness reveals some of Sabine's past and her reservations about what they're doing.
This first season is all about setup. Setting up who the characters are and where they're going. By season two with introductions out of the way they can plow straight forward and focus on paying off everything that they setup before.
=P
Hmm...well I don't know what's real anymore. =P

You will be remembered.

You can, just rent/buy this from whatever's your preferred digital marketplace!
Tell that to animated Threepio. ;P
Trailer added for EVA.
Darth Vader #2 was excellent. Kieron Gillen would have fit right in with the Dark Horse writers. Excellent pace throughout the book and the back and forth between Vader and Tagge was great. Loving all of the Imperial intrigue. I hope the main Marvel Star Wars title learns a thing or two from this run.
As Smithers said, it was a disappointment to see Destroyer droids but not unexpected. As much as we might protest, the prequels are still a part of the franchise and their touch will continue to be felt from now on. Though their inclusion here wasn't too bad. At least they weren't regular battle droids. *shudder*
I knew I should have taken a picture of the back of the case when I was at Target. =P
Yeah the Rebels premiere movie out on DVD was 2.35:1.
I'm quite fond of this image they have tucked away in the article:

They're animated in 2.35:1 but broadcast in 16:9. The blu-ray, DVD and Netflix/other streaming services all get the full 2.35:1 later.
Wow.
They just released a second teaser.
It's....wow.
Blurry no but they are supposed to look pixelated. What with being pixel games and all...
But to each their own. I'm a purist at heart so I find smoothers like that less than agreeable. Though SuperSAI is far from the worst offender.

SuperSAI2x for super nintendo games makes them look fantastic, *almost* like they are a modern game that was drawn to look retro.
I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.

In his 1977 story conferences with Leigh Brackett, GL said something about wanting to create a fantasy film where all the knights rode around on giant lizards.
Then he made Willow and completely failed to pick up on that idea.
Nah, he got it out of his system in 1985 for Ewoks: The Battle For Endor

That's awesome!
You've piqued my interest. I'm about to watch it now.
I hope you enjoyed it! It takes a certain kind of person to appreciate that kind of film. Don't forget to post a review!
