will the bootlegging never end? it appears as though someone threw together these releases (probably captured and authored by someone here) and made some case artwork and is selling them as a special rare set. this can't be anything new, just another shady person trying to make a buck

i think some of the press release stuff is bonus material on an earlier release. I would have to double check to make sure it is the same footage though

The one included in with the DVD is probably the only "right one" I think babyhum has simplified them even more for the most recent releases to concentrate on getting more released. I have created alternate covers for every babyhum release, and they are available over at fanedit dot org

this problem has come up before, check out the thread at fanedit.org for more details. I believe the source videos were a lower encode, and this edit was never meant for the public really. I don't think there will be a better version of this for a long time, as wmgan is busy with other things. Have to bear the choppiness for now

I would ask daveytod for some advice. He seems to know his stuff when it comes to videogames and movies, also galactus and movealong are working on an updated bounty hunter DVD, so maybe they will have some advice. I would love to see the video games used to recreate the movies. It would be awesome if it could be done shot for shot and the audio from the DVDs used. I don't know if this is even possible. My gaming sucks, and my editing skills aren't that great either. It would be sooo awesome if it could be done though.

I am glad you like the covers.

I will make the change to the rotj pic on the back, and try to get the bonus disc done too. I get them upped sometime this week.

Pat, I would also recommend purchasing Photoshop. There are a lot of freeware programs out there, but I haven't found any that I like as much as Photoshop. I used to create covers in paint (back in the day), but ever since I got photoshop, things have been so much easier. I constantly learn new tricks too. Its a cool app. I am running an older version 6.0, I am sure they have made it even cooler since then.

Again... glad you like the covers, let me know if you have any other suggestions

OK, here is a preview of the lego covers that I am working on for pat. I still have to do the bonus disc case, and let me know if you guys have any suggestions on these three. I tried to keep the original idea, just make them consistent.

yeah, I would be willing to work on the prequels as well, shouldnt take a whole lot of extra time. Making the first one consumes most of the time, then I can just modify some elements no problem. Send the stuff on over and i'll work on it.

btw, nice video-game cover.

with any increase in size, there is always a loss in quality. sometimes its not that noticable. You said you are using paint? I dont know how to do it in paint without making it look crappy. You can do it in photoshop easy, and then manual repair any pixelation if there is a problem with that.

I just finished a cover for BLAK033 - Animal Icons - The Creatures of Star Wars. I based it on the Wildlife of Star Wars book.

good job on the lego idea. I know my way around photoshop pretty well, and could do these in two shakes of a lamb's tail, if you want. just would need to send me the images you have.

On another note, it would be great if someone used the Lego Star Wars game engine to recreate the Star Wars Saga movies. I know there are a lot of home-made actual Lego brick-films out there. You can see a bunch over at archive.org. Someone did an hour version of Episode IV using the audio track from the movie, and stop-action Lego. I made it into a DVD a while back and threw in some other brick shorts and Revenge of the Brick as bonus material. I would love to see full versions of the movies done. I dont know if that is possible with the game or not
