I've never seen
(only films in the AFI Top 50 I haven't seen)
Never seen "Breakfast at Tiffanys"
Finally got "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children."
About halfway through... loving it!
The Lady in the Waterworld
Just picked up the soundtrack to "Spider-Man, Turn off the Dark"
Not as bad as I'd heard. It sounds mostly like an uninspired U2 album. Nothing particuarly hummable.
The one song I dig is the Green Goblin singing "All the Wierdos in the World"
The main problem is that they use
UUUUUUNNNNLIMITEEEEDD POOOOOOOOOOOOWEEEEEEEEEEER!!!!!!
"Endless Night"
I adore Hailey Mills, but the whole thing was a little too late-60s for my tastes. Unfair I know.

The Wall Immersion set or Dark Side of the Moon Immersion set?
Both wrong. Get The Final Cut.
Is Frink a Nerd or a Dweeb?

If death is the penalty for being caught doesn't that make murder the better option for a rapist or a child molester? There are people who would be prone to murder their victims anyway but if the crime was opportunistic rather than part of sadistic lifestyle and death is the punishment wouldn't such a criminal want as few witnesses as possible?
On every level the Death Penalty just doesn't make sense to me, containment (possibly permanent) makes much more sense.
So if the death penalty was removed, these people wouldn't kill their victims?
In for a penny, in for a pound.
If you've committed a non-murder capital offense already, there's no cost to the criminal to up the ante to murder to eliminate a witness.

Every time I hear about someone clearly, exonerated by new evidence, even after they had a (coerced?) confession whatever residual support I had for the death penalty breaks.

Nerd alert. :p
What gave it away? It wasn't that I spend time on a Star Wars film preservation board debating the merits of Ewoks, was it?

Some of the 50 Reasons are just so completely stupid, it's hard to rebut them beyond stating the obvious (eg #12 3PO is annoying and doesn't serve an integral purpose...what else is new?).
I love 3PO, and the entire plot doesn't work without him. He gets Artoo into Jabbas palace, he is the key reason the Rebels and the Ewoks form an alliance.
What "integral purpose" do they need? This isn't Oceans 12.

Which is worse: excessive smearing or over contrasting?
Smearing.

Can we get someone in the clergy to ask Lucas to release the OOT?
Then he can thumb his nose at man, country, and God.

I don't have the desire to do a thorough rebuttal to the "50 Reasons Jedi Sucks" link a couple pages back but fortunately someone else did. It's a multipart reply but that's the first page for anyone interested.
While that list is sure rebuttal worthy, this dude's work is a little weak. Lots of "George's vision" stuff, including faulting the first list for calling "Star Wars" "Star Wars" and not ANH.

You see, I've been joining a lot of forums lately, and with OT.com in particular, trying to keep up with all of these posts (I have this completion thing where I have to be on top of all topics) is almost an unhealthy addiction. My time is better spent doing school, keeping my video-editing skills sharp, that sort of thing.
I can sympathise. Take care and remember,

They're only recompositing the effects because they were originally post-produced in SD. So, having them on Blu-ray would be pointless unless they recreated everything from scratch.
Is improved image quality the only reason to re-release something?
How many DVDs were released in quality that didn't take full advantage of the new format? Plenty.

Just peeped "Thor."
Good. Not to long. LOVED the design work on the Asgardians.
I'd give it 8/10 balls.
The Dutch cast, singing in English, of the musical "Chess."
Nothing beats a Dutch dudes singing version of an American with a Southern accent.
The steam-punk Frankenstein in "Van Helsing" was a really cool design.
Mid 90s wrestling personality Tammy "Sunny" Sytch.
Undercover Blues Brothers.
Undercover Brotherhood of the Wolf
The Wicker Man on Fire
In the Name of the King Kong
Bringing out the Dead and Breakfast
