Once again, thank you very much for sahring this!

You're welcome. By the way, grisan uploaded a torrent for the Flunk release of ANH and I'll upload it to the file-sharing sites by Monday.

So I think that the small transparent logo in the corner of the movie picture is much better than smearing and maybe it can be hidden by some picture from GKar. But unfortunately we don't know yet if there is a smearing or not in this broadcast...

A logo can indeed be covered up like that. I don't know exactly how to do it but I'm sure it's not too difficult. It would be fantastic if it did turn out that the smearing wasn't inherent to the broadcasts...

Good thing they were deleted!

Granted it's a narrative decision but wait how is that a good deletion...

I wonder if anybody could mix up dialogue from other sources to use in the sandstorm sequence. It sounds next to impossible, but we have some pretty talented people hear. That sandstorm sequence is beautiful, has iconic imagery potential that is lacking in ROTJ.

Something probably could be made. I wasn't thinking of it that way when I watched the scene, but, you're right, it could be iconic imagery. The sandstorm seems much more violent and alien than the one shown in TPM, so it could be interesting to see... It also gives us some good character dynamics.

Now only if there could be some confrontation between Lando and Han... I never liked how quickly Han was friends again with him even though his last memory before being frozen was being betrayed. I suppose you could say Chewbacca explained it, but still.

I did like the fact that there were some guards around the bunker... In general, it really seems that they trimmed down the ROTJ climax so it would be nice and simple.

Actually, if all the deleted scenes were added in, it could be a nice departure from the other two films, in terms of having scenes not with the main characters. It could really emphasize the fact that the Endor battle is THE FINAL BATTLE and is much bigger than just our main characters. So much could be happening. The Rebels could be making their last stand and Jerjerrod could be making his decision.

The "Vader Reaches Out to Luke" was edited, scored and finished with visual effects, but it's the only one.

I actually have a feeling that this scene was either cut out at an extremely late stage or it was just finished to show off the Blu-Ray set. In any case, I am glad it is since it is a good scene... refers the film right away to ESB.

The Luke-Leia scene on Hoth is so good I wish it was included in the film from the beginning. It also puts a new spin on the kiss they have--it wasn't just to make Han jealous.

This is definitely another extension I wouldn't mind seeing. I have a feeling that they decided to ease down the love triangle a bit in order to keep it a "kid's movie," but seeing a version with that triangle visible would be nice. With some quick dialogue editing, there might also be something in the extended Han/Leia hallway conversation to use...

The sandstorm scene in Jedi was much better than I expected. I actually wish they had done the ADR on here, as it seems like it is a much better and more human farewell scene, compared to the final film where Luke just makes a phone call while he drives. How rude! :p

It is definitely a shining scene, and I have no idea why they would cut it. You can't understand much but even just as a silent and brief scene, it could still work as a transition. The physical actions of all the characters do communicate the feeling of the scene. The problem though is that it needs to be cleaned up... I do hope it ends up in ROTJ: Revisited. :D

The scenes with Jerjerrod having to fire on Endor are terrific and would have really amped up the tension in the end, like the ending to the original film where there is a countdown. I assume it was cut because there was so much going on as it was. It would be interesting to see how coherant the film was if this was put back in.

Granted that the acting is better than I initially stated it to be. I still don't like this scene, along with the Wampa scenes, because none of our main characters are in them. We didn't tend to have many scenes like that throughout the OT that were lengthly... I just don't think it would work, although I'd be happy to be proven wrong by a stunning fan edit.

The most interesting thing is the possibilities for fan editors. It would great to put them all back in for extended cuts.

I would be very interested in "virtual workprint" edits. It would be fantastic if someone inserted these into Puggo's 16mm transfers. They'd blend perfectly and it would have a workprint-esque feel. An edit like this could even be done in mono and black and white and still be fantastic. Another grindhouse edit may be fun too...

Of course, for the more serious edits, I'd be interested to see some of the cleaner scenes reinserted in: (Moff Jerjerrod's scenes).

I doubt anyone would be willing to restore these beyond matching the colour-timing better.

If anyone's interested, I've been testing if I can match the color timing a bit. I don't know much about color correction and am just using VirtualDub, but you can see my attempts at making a less yellow Hoth on my Youtube channel:

And what was in the room that contained the Doctor's greatest fear? (Room 11, of course.)

I think I know: Amy's grave, or her dead body.

That's what I thought too, and it would make sense considering the end. However, he really didn't look that afraid of what was inside; he just sort of smiled and said "Of course," like he knew that it was his fear but wasn't that afraid. The cloister bell probably wouldn't ring if just Amy died. If it was a dead Amy or Rory, then I would imagine it being silent and the Doctor looking serious.

My bets are on the universe being destroyed, the Daleks destroying all, time unraveling, him accidentally causing the destruction of all creation, or Omega returning... All of which would trigger the cloister bell.

In any case, what do you guys think, is Amy and Rory's departure permanent? There were rumors that this was Karen Gillian's last season.

Wow. That was another good episode of Series 6. The God Complex is indeed a very intriguing and engaging story. To me, it seems like one of the first episodes to really test the audience's capacity of understanding, so it's aces in my book.

The only thing with the episode is that, to me, at least, the ending really upstaged it. I have to say that I truly didn't see that coming. I'd heard rumors, but, considering the last few episodes, it makes perfect sense. I do like seeing the Eleventh Doctor's deeper and more emotional choices; Matt Smith seems to be skilled at portraying them... In any case, it seems like everything's set up so that the Series can end as it started (if that makes sense)...

In any case, I'm most definitely excited for next week's episode. The Cybermen will return!!!

Moff Jerjerrod's scenes are actually in pretty good condition. The only problem is that they're not that good; the Moff's acting could have been somewhat better. While interesting, they completely contradict how uneasy the Moff is when Vader first comes. Also, the voices are not final and it is definitely odd how the scene doesn't have any of our main characters present.
