The scene of Padme dying was a writing screw up on George’s part and if you begin to start twisting it all in your head on how it all makes sense then your taking it too seriously and need to take a step back.
I do agree that some of the added shots in the SE are too much “in your face”.
I do believe that the one SE shot that should be left in is the one after it’s arm gets cut off.
That’s the point where it goes beyond “LOOK, THE WAMPA!” to some kind of parody.
“YOU DIDN’T REALIZE THAT IF YOU CUT AN ARM OFF A WAMPA IT WOULD ONLY HAVE ONE ARM!”

It might make for an interesting curio though like restoring the deleted score segments in isolated scenes. Extras but not part of the main edit. Like the anaglyphic Jabba in the first revisited

Even if it might make sense to some people, I never liked them changing Boba Fett’s voice to sound like Jango Fett.
Yeah, the idea is stupid because there’s a million different things that affect the creation and development of a person’s voice. Nobody sounds exactly like their parents. The original Bobba Fett voice could easily be the voice of a Jango clone.
And the execution is terrible. It sounds dubbed in and the delivery of every line is awful.
Those are the reasons why I hated it when I first laid ears on it and another issue I had with it was if he’s going to sound like Jango Fett because he’s a clone, then why didn’t all the stormtroopers sound like him?

Glover’s awesome, but I feel he is too goofy for the role of Lando, which should be excruciatingly suave.

It was a disaster for the most part.
It still wasn’t as bad as the prequels, though.
Everything that’s mostly wrong with the film could still be fixed with the right faneditors.
That really depends on what you find “mostly wrong” with it. A very personal opinion.
That’ll become more and more clearer to everyone as time moves on and the hype of the ST dies down.

Most SW:SE comparisons shown mainly depict the changes that are on the Blu-ray release, but not on what was exclusively shown in the other versions.
So just out of curiosity, what are the SE changes that were removed or changed from the 1997 and 2004 releases?
