The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014)
Once again the trailer for the film utilizes scenes ultimately cut from the final film. Odd habit. Great film. This was more like it. Spidey had a better sense of humor this go around and the world felt just a bit more comic booky.
I just realized how many spoilers that trailer has!
(I haven't seen the film, but we can all guess what happens to **** *****)
I'm betting it'll be There and Back Again. Just a guess.

Episode VII title revealed! Get ready for Order of The Jedi!:
That might be the best page I've seen yet.
On the other hand, I'm kind of sad that von Sydow won't be a physical presence...

It may not work well as the conclusion to the storyline of TWOK & TSFS -- and the whole "sound travelling through space" thing may really bug me -- but I just can't find it in me to dislike this movie.
Read the comic "The Mirror Universe Saga" from DC. It works well in an AU sort of way. Issues of their Star Trek series 9-16.
I, for one, am very pleased by the new casting choices.
Here's hoping that Von Sydow's performance will be one for the ages!
I can get into essentially anything. And I enjoy it.

I'm hope that Luke ditches the marriage rule and the intertwinement with the Republic. In fact, how about all the Jedi being independent instead of there being a Jedi Order?
Considering I think the only reason the 'marriage rule' was created in the first place was to inject some forced conflict into the AOTC love story, that's quite possible.
I agree that these are some good things for him to choose. A bad director can crush any good personality or performance. They got some good people for these films, yet somehow were able to fail to elicit any sort of good performance from them.
I am intrigued.
If this were the first edit to have the Nuclear Man I scene with the original soundtrack, I'm in support.
I think it's a promotional still from the time of the SE's. It's on IMDb if I'm not mistaken.
Dune Messiah (1969)
I'm digging this writing style! It's compelling, eloquent, and surprisingly easy to follow.
Actually, apparently in the 2004 version he says "As fast as his boasting." I believe.
No!
NO!NO!NO! NO!NO!NO!NO! NO!
Do not want!

- Dull, repetitive scores
I think you mean:
"Decent, maltreated scores"
I meant for the theatrical edits. The original scores were pretty good, I think.
My copy of the Special Longer Edition ('83 Laserdisc) has the original subtitles, and the versions present on the 2001 DVD are correct, according to that transfer.
Also, the V'Ger tunnel scene has an entirely unique timing to any other version I own.
So, I'm curious, what will your sources be for the original Jabba scene? Mostly all sources are incomplete.
Interesting.
I wonder what Star Wars would sound like with an entirely classical soundtrack...
Sir Gawain and the Green Knight
and
The Adventures of King Arthur and his Knights
There's a series of Star Wars related videos called 'kit-bashed', which expand upon the notions of Star Wars' influences from classic cinema (The Hidden Fortress makes quite a few appearances)
There are some interesting points made in these videos, but one that stands out is the music influences for the opening. In particular, this one from Ivanhoe.
There's also one from Stravinsky's Rite of Spring that was interesting.
They certainly do.
I don't own them (yet) but I do know that they have a wealth of content, perfect for this here project of yours.
Sure. It's a digital upgrade to the original Rinzler 'Making of' books, with new pieces of behind the scenes footage unearthed from Lucasfilm's vaults.
I remember a few of them:
Luke, Han, and Leia waltzing through the hallways with the weapons behind their backs.
The original crawl.
Editorial version of the opening strike (more Antilles dialogue)
Various other odds and ends (some of the original lightsaber footage, if I'm not mistaken)
I am in full support. By the way, you might be interested in the new eBook release. Lots of unused shots and takes that you'll find extremely useful.
Also, in case you didn't know-

Both versions of the fourth draft. They contain the original crawl.
