-Post-sex scene…which is even more ridiculous since they purposely kept the camera at shoulder height pre-sex secne, then didn’t even show any sex. And Ryan wasn’t even in the room, let alone the bed.
-Random Vegas statues in nonsensical poses, naked except for heels…what the hell was that? And yes I know they were just statues. Still ridiculous.
-Yes, holographic billboard. Worst offender of any of these. Completely gratuitous.

I don’t mind the ending of Rogue One, but maybe it’s just because you hardly ever see a movie that’s willing to do it. Looking at you, Serenity. Would have been a perfect ending to a great movie but you didn’t quite have the guts.

I also don’t care about Ponda…yeah I’d agree it’s pointless, but it’s also one shot in a movie over two hours long. Shrug.

Unnecessary to you I guess then. For these side stories, I just wanna have a good time at the movies, and this looks fun. I don’t care about “pointless fanservice” the way you’ve defined it. Why wouldn’t how Han won the Falcon be part of the story anyway?

If you want to just call the fact that they even made the movie fanservice, sure, ok.

All movies are unnecessary.
