Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace: Redemption ** unfinished project **
Time

Glad to hear it :-)

As for Episode 2, it's still a bit early on to be looking that far ahead, but there are two big changes that I want to make that come from both Attack of the Phantom and Magnoliafan's edit.

First of all, like TPE I want to change the dynamic of Anakin and Padme's relationship so that they hook up relatively early on in the story. Their interactions make way more sense if viewed in context of them having had a romantic liaison and Padme having second thoughts about it, rather than Anakin just pining about how he wants Padme and her having to explain to him why not. This also means more time can be spent on Anakin's issues on Tatooine, rather than his sexual frustrations.

The other big change is Dooku, who I plan to re-imagine as being a rogue Jedi rather than a straight up Sith lord (or at the very least, his true loyalties will be kept a mystery). This also means that like in Magnoliafan's edit, his lightsaber will be re-colored. If I'm going to do this I want to make sure that it is technically well executed and there are no visible "seams" in the re-color job, since that was the one weak point of Magnoliafan's treatment of the character (little artifacts from the original would occasionally show through). Here are some tests I did with Dooku's saber color. Not sure which one I like as of yet, but I think that the purple, gold, and blue would be on my short list.

My favorite prequel edits have been JasonN's.  I'd definitely recommend you check out his Ep2 edit for how he handled Dooku as a rogue Jedi, as well as the Ani/Padme romance.  Another good source for the romance is Slumberland's edit.

Avatar passes Star Wars at the box office

Still Avatar will be forgotten in time. It's just the flavor of the moment.

Has Titanic been forgotten yet?  I don't recall the numbers, but I think Avatar has a very good chance of overcoming Titanic for the largest worldwide box office haul (again, not adjusting for inflation).  This isn't to say it's good or not good (still haven't seen it yet), but just to say that I don't see it being forgotten.

Star Wars Episode II: The Galaxy Divided (The Brash Cut) - CANCELLED

I like the Obi-Wan/Dooku thing, but there's still Obi-Wan's unexplained hostility. Dooku just told him they would destroy the Sith, yet Obi-Wan goes all "I'll never join you!" as if he had just been told Dooku planned to gain world domination with a laser on the moon and extort the UN for one million dollars. It always sat wrong with me.

lol at that last bit.

Obi thinks Dooku is lying.  Which, of course, he is (in the original version, anyway).

EDIT:  I mean, ohhhh, look at this!  I'm loved too!  I too got a private message!  I'm going to show you all right here!

Dearest Gaffer Tape,

I saw your profile at (originaltrilogy.com), and you seem to be the sexiest person on that boards, so much more so than C3PX, which is why he hasn't gotten any private messages.  But you're so sexy that I can't keep my hot, well-manicured hands off of you.  We should totally have with sex and stuff.  Because you're so hot.  Please reply with me of your e-mail address, which is essential for with sex-having.  Oh, and also your credit card number, for that too is necessary for the sex-having.

Sincerely,

See, I'm loved!

Dearest Mr. Olie,

Happiest of new years! I saw your profile at (originaltrilogy.com), and you seem to be the sexiest person on that boards, so much more so than C3PX or Gaffer Tape, which is why they hasn't gotten any private messages that were real.  But you're so sexy that I can't keep my hot, well-manicured amphibian hands off of you.  We should totally have with underwater sex and stuff.  Because you're so hot.  Please reply with me of your e-mail address, which is essential for with sex-having.  Oh, and also your credit card number, for that too is necessary for the sex-having.

Sincerely,
GunganWoman3334253353

Oh boy oh boy oh boy!

ANNOUNCER: Will Gaffer choose xhonzi or GorgeousWoman3334253353?  Will Biff realize that Gaffer has been right in front of him all this time?  Will C3PX put his feelings for xhonzi aside and pursue TheBoost?  Will TheBoost get jealous of xhonzi?  Will Ric succumb to the forbidden love of GunganWoman3334253353?  Is Gaffer hiding a special surprise under her white robe? Find out, next time, on...

Pat Robertson does it again

TheBoost said:

Because in the view of Robertson and his ilk, there are no truly devout Christains anywhere but in the US watching the "700 Club." He is a man who once said Episcopelians were the Antichrist.

I was going to fix your spelling, but it seems you know what you're talking about.  For instance:

http://www.cartoonstock.com/directory/c/christains.asp

Also:

And this one, which should appeal to the non-sporters like ferris and CP3S:

So...I stand corrected.
