The volume level changes between the regular tv show and the commercials are bad enough. Why do I have to deal with insane volume changes when going from a 5.1 commercial to a 2.0 commercial?

Speaking of ratings...does anyone here with a DVR even watch shows live anymore? Are ratings able to account for DVRs?
I agree that Conan isn't innocent in this. He says he won't allow The Tonight Show to be moved back a half hour because it wouldn't be The Tonight Show anymore. Regardless of if he really belives that or not, it's obvious it isn't his only motive.
But having said that, I really don't care who is right or wrong here. All I care about is who makes me laugh. Conan does, Leno doesn't.
