If you need to B*tch about something... this is the place
Time

I HATE having Autism. I can’t even have a conversation with someone without stuttering. I HATE FORGETTING THINGS FUCKING HELL WHY IS LIFE SO HARD, GODDAMNIT.

Also… I hate religious people who shame people that aren’t part of that group for, like, wearing bikinis or shorts.

On a similar note, when I was part of a not-quite-a-cult religious group, I was told about how ‘chastity’ was the peak of human virtue, and so I thought that if you didn’t cover up, you were a lesser type of person. I still struggle with that thought to this day, even after I left. It doesn’t help the current leader is a convicted fraudster.

I EVEN THOUGHT THAT THE 21ST CENTURY WAS THE WORST CENTURY EVER AND IT WAS ALL GETTING WORSE FROM THERE AND THOUGHT THE FUCKING 1700S WERE THE BEST

Back to the main topic: If your religion prohibits something, fine, but the number one rule of religion is DO NOT FORCE YOUR BELIEFS ON PEOPLE WHO AREN’T PART OF YOUR GROUP.

I’m looking at you, Fundamentalist Christians.

I need to get this off my chest.

Signed, a hypersexual autistic sexually repressed teenage boy with partialism.

I agree that zoomers ruined the word Karen (and I know this firsthand as a zoomer myself). One of my friends is actually named Karen, and the stereotypical description of Karens doesn’t apply to her at all, so as you can imagine, she hates the fact that own her name which has existed for decades, probably centuries, has recently become associated with entitled and racist T***p supporters, which she very much is not.

True. I also suggest we use the word Simp’s original meaning, as in simpleton, or fool.

And judging by your censoring of the word Trump I can tell you absolutely despise that simp!

Borders are fuzzy. I’ve seen people say the zoomer generation starts as early as 1994 and as late as 2006. Almost an entire generation can fit in the grey zone.

Zoomers are generally accepted to be born from 1995-2010.

Baby Boomers got their moniker from being born in the post-WWII baby boom from 1946-1964.

Generations in the western sense didn’t really exist until the early 20th century. The “Lost Generation” AKA the WWI generation was the first officially named generation.

It’s also an American thing. For example, Armenia has the “Independent Generation” of whom were born after Armenia’s separation from the Soviet Union.

And most other countries have a post-war generation and China has the ‘1980s generation’.

Anyways this isn’t a discussion thread and I suggest we go back on topic before the thread is derailed.

Casual b*tch:

I hate how words like “Karen”, “Simp” and “Boomer” are misused constantly. Any old person, especially a ‘Builder’ (AKA a member of the ‘Silent Generation’) is NOT a Boomer, any middle aged woman is NOT a Karen just because of her appearance, and a man who is casually nice to women is NOT a Simp.

Also it’s offensive to women and girls named Karen, who suffer bullying due to their names.

Also Boomers did NOT ruin the world and are NOT the worst generation. They’re certainly a lot better than, say, their parents, or conservatives in the 19th century.

A large part of the internet has no chill.

The misogyny has been toned down considerably around the Dalton era, but yeah, it’s because of it that the older Bond movies, particularly the Connery era, have not aged well in that regard.

Don’t forget casual racism.

Yeah. Jesus Christ, scenes like him hitting women definitely haven’t aged well. Then again, that was the 1960s, and was a product of the times, but it’s still aged like milk.

On that note, seeing some of the Bond girls, Honey from Dr. No for example, having little to no character and being half-naked most of the time, made me quite uncomfortable, and even offended me a little bit.

But girls like Vesper from Casino Royale are good Bond girls because they have good character and barely show their body.

Even still, Bond still hit women like Tracy, one of the best Bond girls, so…

P.S. I know I talked about it before, but I was to whiny to get my point across.

I don’t like it when villains in movies are just evil for the sake of being evil, that makes a prime example of bad character development and makes the villain really shallow, boring, uninspired, and just plain uninteresting.

And I hate it when the villains motive is the same old same old “tAkE oVeR tHe WoOoOoOrLd Mwahahahahahahahaha!!!”

I really like when the villain actually has a relatable motive, and the viewer is able to sympathise with them. Even better, is a film with no villain at all.

Overall a really tired trope: the villain that’s just simply a villain that wants to take over the world/universe and enslave all of humanity and has no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Also, how about a film where the good guys lose, sad ending, and the (relatable and well developed) villain wins.

His decision about Keystone XL wasn’t very progressive though… It just means more oil being transported in environmentally destructive ways and from countries with no environmental standards.

I hadn’t actually heard about that, so thanks. I’ve just looked up about it. Biden and his administration will definitely need to be pressured to combat the climate crisis, and we need to get out of the hopeless mindset we’ve been in for the past years and set our expectations higher.

Oh great. America is screwed.

I’m just sorry for my prejudice of Jews and Muslims and the fact you were offended made me feel like a bad person and made me hate myself and Christians.

I don’t have anything against Muslims.

I agree it is prejudice because I don’t really understand Jews and Muslims. And I am sorry.

I got that idea from Reddit.

Spuffure I fully agree with you on the preconceived notions about sexualities and the lazy stereotypes that come with that. I also agree that the fetishizing of lesbians is gross and damaging.

I feel your use of the term “normal” is very problematic. I’m a teacher and work predominantly with women of colour many of whom are Muslims and I’m offended by your previous message. I’m also a staunch atheist which I’m stating merely for context.

Implying that any faith needs to change to fit your “normal” is really not ok. You are obviously not a Muslim or a Jewish person so what gives you the right to tell others how to worship? Saying “Islam can be more progressive” is tacitly saying “I personally want a faith I am not part of to change to make me feel better”. That’s no different than a religious extremist saying “death to the infidels”.

You make your opposition to Islam clear by not being a follower of the faith. And stop with the histrionics, you are absolutely welcome to condemn the actions of individuals and you can be critical of how faiths do things but the way you are phrasing things IS Islamaphobic. I wonder how many Muslims you’ve spoken to about their perception of their life within their religion?

You feel all Islam should change (because you, a non-Muslim, say so). They should change because they aren’t “normal”. How many of my students need to change? How many are not “normal”? How do you decide when something crosses the line? Is it “normal” to pretend you are eating the body of Christ or is it “normal” to choose to cover your head as a sign of respect? The moderate Muslims of the world far outweigh those who hold extremist views.

You’re not the global arbitrator of what is “normal”; no one is. Just live your life, you’re the master of your own destiny. Religious freedom is important and I’ll defend the rights of others to worship despite choosing not to worship personally.

EDIT: It’s frustrating you edited your post to say “equal” not “normal” but I appreciate you saw the problematic nature with that language and choose to change it.

Ah, sorry. I felt like a horrible person reading that. I meant the more conservative radical ones in the Middle East. I have a warped view on Abrahamic religions and only really know Christianity. I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to offend you.

I have never talked to a Muslim. I have talked to people who have talked to Muslims, and normal Muslims are nice.

And yeah, I got most of that ‘backward’ perception from Reddit. Fuck Reddit.

I grew up in a conservative suburb with values more in line with the 1950s with no Muslims or Jews, only Christians. Mostly of British Descent.

I’ve also used to like hating white Christians, Britain and Western Europe. Is that not okay?

I feel like this guilt from your post just makes me hate Protestants even more. Sorry if this is worded wrong.

I still have a huge resentment for British people, and dislike conservative Baby Boomers of white, British/Scottish descent.

Yep. You’re a genuinely good person and we need more people like you.

I also hate how lesbians are incredibly sexualised by ignorant straight men, to the point where people’s perception of lesbians gets distorted, and even then being discriminated against because in modern society, women are expected to be attractive and have a male partner.

It is appalling. And not ALL gay men are feminine in any way. And not all lesbians are masculine.

I also hate religious fundamentalism.

REMOVED

I used to hate modern culture and think the past was better because of some stupid culty religious group. And thought ANY sexualisation of women was bad.

I hate gender roles, and what’s worse is when I say that, I look like a radical feminist and imagine what is called a SJW (not 100% sure if that’s an okay term).

Well done, America. Well done.
