Movie set set-up #1: The round set has the meditation prop wheeled into the center of it to get the shot of Vader walking out and kneeling on the pad. He is walking from the center of the set to the outer edge of the set, as indicated by the brown/gray ring in the lower photo.
Movie set set-up #2: The set isn't big enough to house the room for the meditation chamber prop and the area where the Emperor effect will be projected, so it is rolled out of the set and ol' Dave Prowse turns around on the pad to now face into the set to stare into ol' Chimp-eyed old lady.
You cats are thinking way too much about this. This is just an example of 'movie magic' where film makers have to make do with small sets in order to make them look much larger.
This thread would be pretty quiet if we are only waiting for official news on the bluray.

I think I got as far as the adding the cast and credits on the back. I believe that we were thinking about having the cover being specifically designed for an 'Ultimate Edition' with extra-features and the like. I'd love to finish it off some day.

I think forum member Negative 1 was going to do this, but he bailed on us and formed his own private forum. Party-pooper.
What really needs to happen is a forum member needs to get a job at a multi-media shop with a film scanner. They would learn how to learn it and when a print became available, they would scan it during the shops closed hours (so you won't get the shop owner busted). I'd much rather have one of our own learn how to do the scan and scan it on his own equipment than trust it to someone else.
It is too expensive to buy a full-sized 35mm scanner.
