I think I'd remove the shot with Half Dome in it, but the rest adds a nice element of danger.
I was talking with a bud about all the dumb things the Special Editions did or didn't do. He mentioned that George should have fixed the shot of the Tusken Raider that was created by looping the footage back and forth as it was attacking Luke.
How hard would have been to go shoot footage of a guy in a suit in the backlot?

That's funny because that's why the cut the scene in the first place. They felt the audience needed a chance to catch its breath after the sail barge fight. I'd love to see a second stab at this, either with maybe a little calmer music or just the wind.
But it is brilliant so far!

I like what you've done with this minus the music. It seem a bit too tense. But I think you are on the right track.
More people may prefer the original "Star Wars" trilogy, but there is no question that the prequel is a more challenging, illuminating, and superior work of art.
