I think the surface model shots could be greatly improved if they has some windows or lighting in the surface details. Or even a tiny trooper or a gunport or something to show some scale. Without the scale, the surface just looks like a model kit.

I'd be curious to find out when he nailed down the Episode 4 part. Empire was Chapter 2 for a while. And was the Splinter of the Mind's Eye part of this? (meaning influential on the production schedule)

CoverXP won't resize the spine. This is something you will have to do manually in Photoshop or MacPaint or your favorite graphics program. Just make a template for the new spine size based on a scan of a Thinpak cover and modify the existing spine accordingly.

Still, might be cheaper to buy a new shelf than to reprint all them covers.

Oh, I likes it. Except that it the city ought to fill up the whole surface except for giant valleys along its surface which are too unstable to build in due to volcanic activity. Half and half seems too convenient.

I don't think I had thought of this until I saw Clones, but the telekinesis aspect of the whole SW story is just problematic. It is the same problem the Superman stories have. If the Jedi are invincible, then where is the drama? On the other hand, instances where the Jedi don't use their powers, then you get the dilemma of why aren't they using their powers?

Nice, A new transfer of the Making of Star Wars laserdisc is long overdue. Could I suggest having 2 audio tracks on this? The Sci-Fi Channel version has a different narrator than the laserdisc release. It would be cool to have both in one spot.

I was praying that it was just an unfunny rumor. Then the pictures popped up on the net, which everyone was hoping were fakes. Then the DVD. Then sadness.

Regardless of whether or not one likes the change or not, the big thing that bugs me about the scene is the fact that they would only change one of the characters and not all three. I certianly wouldn't like to see all 3 changed, but if George has to make the change, at least it wouldn't look so d@mned bizarre. Or atleast have 3 old versions and morph then into their young counterparts.

But I just wish they were left alone.

If I remember right, you are keeping the Jabba scene. If this is the case, can you fix Boba Fett from looking right at the camera as he walks by? Bugs the crud outta me.
