I don't think Shaw or Hayden need to morph either way.  Neither one of them will be recognizable to Luke anyway and the audience should assume he aged as opposed to wondering why Anakin got to keep his young body in the afterlife and Obi-wan has to be old.

Unless everyone morphs from their old versions to their Episode III versions.  That sounds like something Lucas would have done, and I'm honestly surprised he didn't.

Again, I think adding Qui-Gon is adding things for the sake of adding them.  If LUCAS showed enough restraint not to do it, I think we should also.

He didn't show any restraint when he added Hayden.

GM (or anyone esle)

Do you know if anyone has done anything with the SOTE soundtrack?  I was listening to it a while ago and it isn't a bad little soundtrack.  The only thing missing was a proper ending credits.  Does anyone know if anyone has cobbled anything like this together?

You mean like this?

Ah, perfect.  That is just as good as I was hoping it would be.

article: "A lightsaber blade was a massless form that neither radiated heat nor expended energy until it came into contact with something solid." This would explain the molten blast door, but also fit in with the Shadows of the Empire explanation.

We are way off topic with all this, but that doesn't make any sense.  How could a lightsaber deflect another lightsaber when they are both massless?

Let's say I wanted to create my own space opera. (A PT re-write)

As crappy as this example is, you should do what Lucas did with approving the design for Dexter Jetster.  He had the ILM'ers sculpt a bunch of maquettes and he picked features of the ones he liked the best and combined them into the Star Wars equivelant of Mel, the cook on TV's Alice.

In other words, maybe you could start with your 10 favorite villians or other costumed characters and start combining items that you like from each.    As you mesh them together in your imagination, you should get a pretty cool character.

The lightning on Dagobah is a good idea.  Visible from space and maybe during the occasional scene on the ground.

Not too sure about adding major creatures, though.  It seems like it could turn out like the ronto in the ANH:SE.  It feels like it might be too much.  IMO.

Very nice digital matte extensions of Dagobah vaderios.  They do a lot to add depth to the exterior shots.

As BarBar Jinkx pointed out, though, in the shot of Luke looking back at Yoda, just before he attempts to lift the X-wing out of the water, wouldn't there be an open space behind the ship?  Refer to the first shot you showed us of the X-wing just after crashing... there's a ton of open space behind the ship where Luke put her down.

Or maybe have the trees broken and sheared off?

Can anyone help me?  These inspired me to go out and get a PS3(I wanted one anyway, I swear) and I still cant get a version worth watching.

My IMAC G5 has failed mid-burn with 4 DL discs so I gave up on that (I was just burning the ISO right to the disc and burning like a data disc).  I then put the ISO right on my external hard drive and of course the PS3 wouldnt recognize anything on that (I guess I would need to reformat...Fats or something...whatever) so then I spent 40 bucks on a converter program (AVCWare Mac Video Converter) in an attempt to convert it to a DVD format so I could at least Burn it as a standard DVD on popcorn.  Well 10 hours later I converted it to DVD format but it only created a VOB, not the Video_TS folder that I had anticipated.  Popcorn wont recognize the VOB so I stalled on that.  I then just tried to put the VOB file on the PS3 because I read they can play those but the movie stutters and is cropped (not full wide screen).....I think I abused the green too much in my 20s cuz as much I try to research these things I just end up clueless and frustrated.   What generous soul can offer some advice?

Stace

Or I could just mail copies to you if you send me a PM.

On an almost related note, does Imandex or whatever it is called do mock-ups for blue-ray covers?  I am just about done with some I'd like to share for this project.

Another thing with the PiF's is that I know a lot of guys (myself included) have developed a 'been there, done that' attitude.  I have given out hundreds of discs in my day.

I think that the members of this forum are now a lot more savvy, so they know how to download the projects without the need to set up a PiF chain.

Lastly, there haven't been that many new projects around here (I mean on the Star Wars front) that I'd consider starting a new PiF chain.
