Info: Condition of the 2011 Bluray deleted scenes... Quite rough.
Time

Hi Zero, welcome aboard.  I like your avatar.  I had a poster of that painting  when I was a kid.

I'd be doing my own edits, but I don't have the computing power right now.  If you want to do an edit of ROTJ, I've reconstructed the shooting script which you can use to see where all of the cut scenes belong.  The link to it is in my signature.  It might be a good place to start.

Okay, who actually HATES the Prequels
Time

I'd like to be listed as one of the fellow participants who are in the subcategory of those that choose the option of ignoring the existence of the prequel trilogy in the context of what I find pleasing with the rest of the Star Wars experience and the associated affiliated paraphernalia whether be it the voluminous making of books and specials or the handful of collectibles which adorn my shelves of baubles and tchotchkes.

see this is what i mean about 70's style facial hair missing in the PT.

LOOK HOW AWESOME THIS LOOKS NOW!

I'd hate to be the person to hand paint this face fuzz and change the outfits but George...Ben in ANH was in disguise, Luke in ROTJ wasn't :

I agree with this. Another Lucas fubar. Why most all Jedi dress just like Obi-Wan did in ANH is ridiculous... Those were supposed to be typical Tattooine clothes... Owen wore them too! I always thought the Jedi would have an array of clothes. Or like you said, more like Luke was dressed in ROTJ. But as was also said, it would be difficult to recolor every robe, frame by frame.

The clothes make the man.  There were tons of Jedi walking around the SW universe.

Argh! I've always thought that I saw the extended Biggs scene and this is exactly as I remember it. Somehow, I think I've seen this seen before, complete with the additional dialogue. I'd hate to think that I'm suffering from a grappling hook-esque syndrome... :-(

Ah well. Is this how you remember the scene Puggo?

YES!

I'm having a hard time considering this noteworthy. The scene was in the Special Edition. There is only one extra line here, and it was in The Making of Star Wars TV special from 1977. Ergo, the film material for the entirety of the scene has been around for some time, without even getting into the novelization.

That's the problem I have with the novelization, the storybooks, the numerous making of.. books, etc.  I've watched the films so many times and read more about the making of the movies than I can remember, anytime I re-read the novelization or the script, I hear the actors voices performing the lines in my head.  I believe I have seen all of these cut scenes in my mind, I just didn't necessarily use my eyeballs.

What was the "fatal flaw" of the Prequels if you think they sucked? (aka. Let's take a break from hating on the blu-rays)

The interesting thing though is how superbly acted Alec Guinness is, in the scene in ANH when he talks about Lukes father and Darth Vader. In that the response, makes it seem that Kenobi was considering his words carefully and there was a lot more to the story. If you know what I mean?

Lucas was lucky Sir Guinness was such a thoughtful actor.  I am sure Sir Alec was thinking "How would I tell the son of my friend how his father was murdered?"  The moment of introspection was perfect.  Lucas would have had a much harder changing the original story if Guinness had played it differently.

It is too bad Darth Vader didn't understand this when Luke was being bbq'd by the Emperor.  The moment would have meant so much more if he merely looked on intently instead of yelling.

;)
