Tray,
I think I finally found my Edit Droid discs. I can burn one and ship it to you this weekend.

Thumbing through Adywan's ESB thread, I saw mention of the bounty hunters up on the Star Destroyer bridge and it got me thinking.
1. Why haul these thugs up to the bridge in the first place? Couldn't Vader have briefed them from a conference room or one of the hanger bays? Why bring them physically to the Star Destroyer at all?
2. When did Vader issue an order to summon bounty hunters? Did he have time for that? It seems like the Falcon couldn't have been gone for an hour or so inside that 'cave' where the Empire couldn't find them.
Seems rather impractical to hire a bunch of bounty hunters when the Falcon was obviously hiding somewhere.

Sluggo sweats blood!
Blood, sweat and tears. Whatever it takes to entertain you guys.
And I'm pretty sure that there are thousands of fat, unshaven SW fanboys. Finding someone to take the part ought to be a breeze!
Brilliant!
Likely, but it doesn't have to be fatal.
Are there any segments from Fantasia 2000 that might be worth splicing into the original? That would really be a hybrid.
I thought I saw in one of them technical schematic books that the cockpit itself separated from the rest of the ship.
Although I've always wanted to write a bit of EU short story with Porkins ejecting and parachuting (somehow) to the Death Star surface. He finds a hatch, gets inside and fights his way to an escape ship, only to be vaporized in the explosion.
The AT-ST render was my favorite. I'd love something like that cut into a version of the film, maybe only chopped into two shots. The destruction of the second walker, with its 'head' being taken off is awesome!
I think people invented this rumor as this scene was one of the many unscripted gags that they filmed. Most were cut out, but this one made the final cut. Since this small moment isn't in the shooting script or the novel, perhaps people transferred their memories of this shot being gone in the books to being gone from the movie at one time as well.
What am I supposed to hug without trees?
Cutnshut, its not my fault that it was accepted. Sorry to rain on your parade.
Nice pic, bingo
I have been watching John Adams. And I have a picture of Abraham Lincoln in my wallet. I've got lots of patriotism.
I just know I'm not watching a movie with Will Smith about alien invasion.
Sweet, sweet redemption!
This thread is about rain.
Ah, zombie to the rescue. Thanks!
I'm wondering if any of the famous cut scenes (maybe like the wampa subplot) would have still been in the cue.
I'm trying to remember the source of this info.
I think that would work nicely for that.
I guess I'd need to watch the original again. Any of you other guys have thoughts on the clip?
And Possessed, you've seen the sub-title thread, right? It might have information there that could be helpful.

It makes me all the more curious to see the previous scene (which was cut out of the film- a snippet remains in one of the trailers) when Luke & Leia are having a private discussion, lean in to kiss each other, and then are interrupted by 3P0.
You have seen the re-creation of this scene in Building Empire, right? It is pretty close.
Great review. I was too old for the Power Rangers, but it is interesting how Saban was able to create a new show from an already existing show. It is like Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets all over again.
