DVD's were still pretty new in '98. And for a fully interactive CD-ROM, the quality was pretty decent.

I suppose it could be worse. It could have been Darth Sluggo or SluggoTardisKlingon3263827. As it is, Sluggo is a kiddie nickname with references to baseball, Nancy comics and old Mr. Bill skits.
