... the pre-ANH crawl and the Star Destroyer flyby. Aside from being of non-anamorphic resolution, it looks quite good. Frankly, I'm amazed that they actually went to the trouble of scanning that shot and putting it in at all. I wonder what kind of source it came from . . .
I think we had a rather lengthy and heated discussion about this when the GOUT came out in 06. And everyone survived!
The font is Trade Gothic. I don't have the working file anymore due to a compy crash a few months ago.
Hello! I don't normally post on this forum, but I think all you guys are doing great work. Especially Adyman.
I'm hoping someone can help a noob like me. I need a hi-rez pic of Han Solo from ESB. Either a publicity pic or a production pic or a still from the movie. I have seriously had NO luck with google or yahoo or bing. Does anyone have a secret stash of pics you could share? You would be greatly adored in my family lore for years to come.

Someone should even be able to recreate the spacing and such if you look REALLY close at Sluggo's pictures.
In an earlier post Sluggo posted a High resolution image with all the spacing and text worked out.
I've done a version using that image trying to get the right perspective.
It's here: http://noneinc.com/SWB-Crawl_Tests/SWB-Crawl-002.mov
comments welcomed.
Thanks none! Your render gave me the chills. I've worked my butt off to get the thing right with the very limited reference pics available. I seriously made an early mock-up of this original crawl over 10 years ago. I was working with OCP to have it available on his awesome Deleted Magic, but it never came together. It would be great to see this done for Star Wars Begins.
As far as the scoring goes, would you consider using the piece that is believed to have been the temp track Lucas used as a guide to how Williams scored the thing? It was a Korngold piece for the score of The Seahawk.

I'd say the prequels are great... on paper. It just do not work on screen the way all the cool elements were put together.
Sorry I really wanted to be more positive, but you know...
I think I agree with this. Generally, I think the overall story of the Sith infiltration the Senate and plotting a huge galactic conflict with warring sides (each secretly led by the Sith) with the Jedi trapped in the middle is a very cool idea. The execution of these ideas in the movie was rather poor.
The novels weren't that bad if I was able to imagine the acting instead of watching it on the screen. And the bridge novels between the prequels weren't too bad either.
The deleted scenes were mentioned earlier in the thread. With the trilogy being released on blu-ray in a month or so, would revisiting the deleted scenes make sense?
Have you seen this guy run? He's gotta have super powers.
'Most' might be a bit broad, but I think this is certainly the case with a lot of them. Of course, the clergy is often ignored as well.
I suppose as long as you aren't using it for profit, you should be ok. I won't tell!
Gilchrist is the worst thing to ever happen to Sluggo. Even Jerry Scott treated him decently.
Grrr....
Oh, yeah. Topic.
Um... I am paying some bills this semester, so I'm not taking any classes 'till spring. Stupid catch-22. Need more money to go to school to graduate and earn more money.
I've always prefered the old KJV, but the NRSV is a bit easier to read.
If Anchorhead can be the Star Wars '77 guy, I'd want to be the Star Wars '76 devotee.
*single post*
I believe the 10th Anniversary of Star Wars issue of Starlog Magazine also confirmed the logo was attached to the crawl.
I don't think you are sorry at all.

Any high (*school*) definition for this one ?
Thank goodness there are plenty of Sandpeople and Boba Fetts at that training center. And Darth Vaders. That's what the prequels needed more of. More Darth Vaders and Boba Fetts.
Dorks.
