You’d better hope he doesn’t replace Kennedy, as some fans are wishing for these days.

Or we could pretend that the animated shows are their own thing and sleep better at night? 😃
And who was doing a deep dive for dumb stuff he said over a decade ago? Oh right, people who don’t like his political opinions. Well, thanks a lot ass*oles. GOTG3 is probably going to suck now. And I just bought Vol. 2 today.
They need to figure out how to avoid the problems that drive the cost of these films up as what happened with Solo. The Star Wars sequel that never was, Splinter Of The Mind’s Eye was conceived as being a modestly budgeted film that would take advantage of props and costumes left over from the first film. There’s probably a few warehouses full of stuff from the current films now.
A lean, mean, lower budgeted SW story film has a better chance at cleaning up at the box office.
If you like depressing movies I guess. 😉
Ant Man and the Wasp (2018)
It was alright. The after credits scene was the best part.
I just hope that Infinity War 2 won’t revive anyone, but they probably will, and it will ruin Marvel movies for me.
You do know how that plays out in the comics, right?
I’m not so sure what the playing field will be like going into Episode IX. Kylo can only get so far throwing tantrums at his officers every five minutes without showing some real leadership skills. He hasn’t proved he’s capable of replacing Snoke in that regard yet. (And Luke made him look like a fool in front of a lot of witnesses.) The First Order could be too busy grappling with internal power struggles to pursue the Rebels full bore, which may give them the time they need to find new/old allies and rebuild.
Obi Wan did wear armor sometimes in the hand drawn micro series though.
The voice tracks I presume?
That was unexpected. Certainly a win-win situation for everyone involved right now.
And suddenly it’s 1974 again! 😃

But then they would have had to address Lt. Valtane dying in Tuvok’s flashback on Voyager when he’s clearly alive at the end of TUC. 😛
Speaking of Kubrick, anybody going to ComicCon this weekend?

Haha you watched Little Nicky.
The one unintentionally(?) hilarious thing in the otherwise terrifying Vanishing on 7th Street was an entire theater full of people screaming as they disappear into nothingness while watching an Adam Sandler movie. 😛
Worth it for the Ozzy Osbourne cameo. 😉
I did see the first Avengers movie without having seen anything else but Iron Man. I wasn’t lost. 😃
I still wish they would have done a Captain Pike series instead. The short lived Marvel comic set in that era was pretty darn good.
Goodtimes doesn’t have that good of a track record:
They’ve also been defunct since 2005.
I’d be up for a dark gritty Ewok movie. My personal canon is Mace didn’t die in Battle For Endor, and now lords over the Duloks like Col. Kurtz in Apocalypse Now. 😛
But you don’t have to go see all of it. I went to see Infinity War mainly because the Guardians of The Galaxy are in it. I would think few comic readers follow every Marvel or DC book. They probably only keep up with their favorites.
I thought an SW movie once a year was fine, (alternating between saga and story films) but Disney moved Solo up to summer and it was simply too damn soon after TLJ.
Doesn’t Shout do the reversible cover thing with original artwork on the back?
I don’t recall anyone actually seeing the Romulans in Enterprise. They might have seen the Remans though.
Had the show gotten a few more seasons, I fully expected a Romulan War arc, and if Archer and the gang actually saw any Romulans, made a pact never to tell anyone and alter the logs to preserve the relationship with Vulcans. The late third season story with the Xenophobic faction on Earth being a factor in that.
Interesting interpretation, but is there anything that’s been said by the filmmakers that is along those lines?
I guess you could say it leaped the Sarlacc?™
Yoda is practically perfect in every way though. Even though he screwed up big time with that Anakin kid. 😉
