When did the Falcon launch a torpedo?
Only the Disney accountants know for sure! đ
Well, Mace was kind of a dick towards him, and those younglings were asking for it. Never put sand in Anakinâs lunch. đ
Disney is probably going to focus on Episode IX for now. Once Galaxyâs Edge opens in the theme parks they have the perfect opportunity to cross promote or announce new movies.
Funny how Solo has made more money than Ant-man & The Wasp and nobody is calling that a bomb. đ
Solo didnât make more money than the new Ant-man and it was 100 million-ish dollars more expensive.

I was going by domestic box office gross to date. The budgets arenât listed there.

That is a good sequence. And not a CGI creature in sight. It felt like old school George was there for a moment.
He does have his fangirls though. Even one of the Lego SW cartoons made a joke about it.
Really? This guy? I donât see how he even even barely resembles Gunray. The voice is wrong, the intonations are completely different, and Gunray actually does the grammar properly whereas Chan skips entire words.
LoLâŚI realize that. Thatâs why I said a âreally badâ attempt of the character. My point is that Gunray sounds very cliched as an Asian speaking English.
He sounds like a bad English dub from a 1960s Toho movie.
I keep expecting him to threaten to unleash Rodan and King Gidorah on Naboo if Padme doesnât sign the treaty. đ
Depends on the studio and the project. Filmation did some shows with great animation like Flash Gordon.
Mid 80âs was also when American studios began to farm their animation out overseas as well to cut costs. Filmation was about the only studio keeping things mostly in house.
When I was in 3rd grade, I would say thank you to my teacher when she passed out work. I wasnât actually thankful for the assignment or anything, I just thought it was polite, and she seemed to appreciate it. Then one day a sub got pissed at me for it. Needless to say, it baffled me.
In the second grade, I had an elderly teacher I think was either losing her marbles or truly someone who shouldnât be teaching little kids. She would tell the class horrible things like if we were in a car accident and hadnât gone to the bathroom, our bladders would explode. Iâve mercifully forgotten the rest of her charming lectures. If she had a broomstick in her closet, I wouldnât have been surprised.
Since when has maâam become disrespectful? And a ten year old likely canât tell when an authority figure is joking about throwing something at them. Glad they got the kid moved to a different classroom anyway.
That would explain why the Droids and Ewoks cartoons sport better animation than most other Saturday Morning shows of the mid 80âs.
It unfortunately does look cheap. Love or hate The Clone Wars style, many episodes were as visually lush as any of the films.
Do you use one of those little pill cases that separate pills by daily dose?
Been a while since Iâve listened to the commentaries, but I think George wasnât even going to bring Watto back for AOTC and someone changed his mind. Are there making of books that go into who designs certain characters?
We all might want to take care with stuff thatâs blatantly offensive here. At least put it behind a link with a warning?
Iâm amazed the BBC or Disney never sued over the Borg.
I like that idea! And You catch on pretty quick! would take itâs rightful place among SW catchphrases. đ
Connix is the STâs Wedge (I canât remember if Iâve said so here before, so sorry if I made this exact same post three months ago).
But who is the Ric Olie of the ST? đ
I donât see any other option if you only want minor spoilers. Who could even agree unanimously on what constitutes a minor spoiler?
Example: We know Redacted Actor is back, but someone might not want to see pics of them in costume? The only workaround would be insisting people put photos behind a link every time.
In China, seeing Pooh in the clouds can probably get you arrested. đ
If thatâs the case, where are they getting those images and cliches from? Based on the BTS footage, most of the people working in the film in the design and FX department look pretty young at the time. Under 40 at least.
Looks more like a WWI helmet or a hubcap to me. YMMV.
Like this guys hubcap?
You guys are sure going out of your way here.
Itâs open to interpretation. I have a hard time believing anybody working on the prequels would deliberately use a Jewish stereotype as a greedy alien junkyard dealer.
