New episodes confirmed to premiere in Early 2014!
New episodes of the Clone Wars in early 2014, premiere of Rebels in the fall of that year.
You'd think they would be allowed to tell us exactly where the bloody thing is going to be shown by now. Sheesh!
What about Bossk and BoShek? ;)
There has to be dial or gauge somewhere the Falcon that tells you if it's safe to exit the ship without a pressure suit. The fact Leia just saw a living creature sucking on the window is kind of a dead giveaway.
These guys can be a little hard to see in Star Wars...
People keep forgetting the chapter titles of the very thing that inspired Lucas in the first place.

Making a NEW star wars holiday special... now THAT is an idea that I could definitely get on board with. But only if George Lucas directs, and Justin Bieber stars in it. If CPY is also in it, it will be the greatest thing of all time.
The Ewok movies were the new Holiday Specials, from a certain point of view. ;)
Holy Bantha Poodoo! The things that turn up these days. I don't think any editdroid discs have ever come on the market before.
It might be the paused footage glimpsed here in 1984...

It's a pressed disc, not one of those rare recordables, so no compatibility issues with consumer LD players.
Ever since I saw the only surviving episode on VHS in the 90's, I've wondered how the Doctor and Salamander in the same scene was going to look, and thought I'd never find out.
I imagine the restoration team had their hands full with these. Hopefully, they'll update their website with a new article now that the cat's out of the bag.
"New" trailers for the recovered stories here.

So they really went to that much trouble?
Ebay prices on the old versions aren't going to go down by much.
They're probably saving the rest for the 60th. ;)

I had read somewhere ages ago the design of the TOS bridge was studied by the military. A testament to the talent of the production designers.
That NSA "bridge" looks like a cross between Trek and Flash Gordon!
I think this is a better match. ;)

Christopher Lee does Looney Tunes imitations!? (read review)
Apparently, someone at FOX News thought copying the 2009 Enterprise bridge was a good idea. ;)
Those are some big ass iPads!

I'm off to Switzerland, Bavaria, Austria, Italy
for 3 weeks.
You're going to hang out at Piz Gloria? Awesome!
The Rancor suit was seen in the From Star Wars To Jedi doc. It looked unfinished, as they were probably shooting a test.
I'll have to keep an eye out.
There isn't much they would have to do to the It's a Small World ride to make it more scary than it is already. ;)
News item!
I've seen the trailer for that. Is it getting a wide release?
I think it can mostly be done editorially. Mordor and Mustafar pretty much look the same from a certain point of view.
Yeah, that could cause Anakin to flame on. ;)
Lucas does have good ideas once in while. It's the execution of those ideas where he gets into problems. Removed from the pressures of wearing too many hats as he did on the prequels, and not being surrounded by yes men, the good ideas will hopefully be nurtured. Maybe more like the production of Empire was, but less stress for George.
Disney plays at fostering/encouraging a creative environment. It may not actually be that way, but having the creator of Star Wars on board is good P.R. They don't want to look like they bought Star Wars to do with as they damn well please, and George doesn't want to look like he sold out.

Can't wait to see what you do with this guy...
As it's Australian actor Bruce Spence under that makeup, (best known as the gyrocopter pilot in the Mad Max movies) maybe all those guys on Utapau are Aussies?
Mouth of Sauron.
You know, you could have Sauron's tower somewhere on Mustafar. (The eye takes notice of all the arrivals and departures.) Maybe have Frodo and friends at Mount Doom and the Anakin/Obi Wan duel cross paths?
