The Millennium Falcon's telescope that can see several light years, penetrate the treetops of Kashyyk, and see that Lumpy is in trouble in the Nother World in the book "The Wookiee Storybook".

Also, the Millennium Falcon's Explorer Craft from the same book.

It's a children's storybook from 1979, for crying out loud! Cut it a little slack? That version of how Han and Chewie met probably doesn't jive with the current version either. ;)

I think the book may have inspired the escape pod the Hasbro Falcon has.

Because it's not. Kids these days, eh?

Maybe the fact they keep rebooting the DC universe has diluted the impact it once had?

Kids probably don't realize what the old SW Marvel comic meant to fans when you couldn't see the movie at home. No EU, or Episode IV, just Star Wars. :)

I've been out comic collecting circles for a long time, but I never heard Crisis regarded as crap. It was an attempt to smooth out 50 years' worth of continuity issues. The EU is hardly that messy. ;)

Unless wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff goes in the EU these days, I can't see the Galaxy Far Far Away being altered in such a fashion, without a ridiculous amount of deus ex machina, that would be below the dignity of fifth rate fan fiction.
