Merely curious. It's probably not as curved as a Dimension 150 theater screen either.
One old theater near me, (now torn down) might have had a curved screen before it was split in two. The screen was pretty huge in the 70's. Long after the remodel, one could still see curved curtain tracks up on the ceiling.

I've heard the next generation of "hologram" technology that allows Gorillaz to perform live, and Tupac and Michael Jackson to come back from the choir invisible will be a lot closer to the kind of thing science fiction has been showing us for decades.
It's kind of hilarious people found Star Wars' hologram more "real" than the real hologram Logan's Run used a year before.

TFN has a long history of forum posters having views contrary to those this site is all about. There are probably others. There was even a blogger who was openly critical of us, even though they professed to never actually visit here.

That bears an amazing resemblance to one of Matt Jeffries' early designs for the Enterprise. The "ring ship" has appeared onscreen in everything from TMP to STID.

Is there enough studio space to go around in the UK these days? I'm imagining a reverse scenario of 1979, where the production of Empire was waiting on Kubrick to finish The Shining, as the Overlook Hotel sets took up a lot of stages.

Yeah, they got a couple letters about that, suggesting the clothes must smell really bad. The editor reassured them our heroes wash their clothes regularly. ;)
