^Nope. Very little from the DVD's was even ported over. They had to make space for all the Robot Chicken parodies somehow! ;)

Could be. I do have plenty of Ewan thanks to you, however.
He was in the movie ten minutes, if that much. He's got a better agent than Hayden. ;)
Ewan is in a movie called Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker airing on Cartoon Network tonight. Might be worth checking out?
This sums it up for me. ;)

Wouldn't they have to be an academic doing research or have some other credentials?
I don't think they're going to let us borrow that. ;)
Bad enough Fett was inexplicably hanging around long after delivering Solo.
And Bossk was a gentleman amongst scum! ;)

"Illegal"?!?!?!?
Illegal, immoral, fattening, and in the opinion of one person at a forum I won't name, equivalent to blackmail. ;)

I didn't remember THX pinching LUH's cheek before the sex scene.
If there's yet another version of the movie, I'm going back on sedation! ;)
Why is Chewie's head on a robot body?
No idea.
I'm sure there will be one offs like the X-Men/Star Trek books, but I doubt there will be anything beyond that.
A crossover with Guardians of the Galaxy might be fun!

What if we start a new petition stating we will boycott VII unless the original trilogy is released?I sincerely doubt that losing a couple million dollars will matter when this movie will probably make a billion worldwide.
It would also make us look like a bunch of spiteful fanboys.
What the hell? I thought it was Vader sneaking in to get a last kiss from Padme for a moment there.
I didn't know Baron Underbheit was a sith lord?
Did Bingo's post go through a wormhole? ;)
And I just realized the title of the new TMP book was also that of a TOS episode...

OT: Faces P&S VHS
PT: 35mm in theaters
I still haven't seen the Special Editions. I'm going to see, for the first time, a showing of the ANH 97SE (35mm) at the AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center in Silver Spring, MD on Saturday!

Don't say I didn't warn you! ;)
I like the cover. It's reminiscent of the Star Wars SE trailer, where the X-Wing flies out of a tv set.

There is a whole generation of people who only know the Special editions though. So they know no different unless they went out of their way to obtain the original releases.
Basically Disney cannot make any money from releasing a 4K or 8K special edition release because still most people cant afford the TV sets or have space.
The only moderate plausibly option of a money making re-issue is the Original theatrical releases.
Then the Cinema angle is re-vamped versions of THe OT with 3d bums on seats tickets with a release later.
Pile on the new films also which are priority where as the OT is interim projects for later.
Sure they can Package episode 7 with the 6 others but who is really going out to buy that? if they are a pre-existing fan... And with knowledge of the next 2 films also.
There is a good reason for a studio to "future proof" it's film assets. Sony already has a line of Blu Rays that use 4K masters.
The SE is more like iron pyrite. ;)
I don't think anyone was trying to get away with it. It boiled down to George not wanting to spend money on a new transfer. It always comes back to George.
It's presumed the original crawl was transferred around the same time all the OT footage in Empire Of Dreams was.
Plenty of people are confused already, and some even work for Lucasfilm. ;)
Will a certain segment of the fandom accept a fourth version of the SE George didn't sign off on?
That might have have been a better introduction to him than we ultimately got. Wonder if Brooks worked from an earlier draft of the script?
How does the novel compare to the movie? Is Jar Jar tolerable?
