Unless the bargain theater gets it, (they get Ninja Turtles this weekend, boo, hiss) the movie is gone from screens in my area after today. Saw it twice in 3D, but wanted to see it just one more time, even if it's 2d.

I sometimes miss the good old days when a movie stuck around more than a couple months. Would kids today even believe Star Wars played for over a year?

Everyone thinks it's Mark when it clearly makes sense it's Carrie :-D

If his first student went bad it would kind of put Luke out of setting up a new Jedi Temple.

Leia has a habit of raiding the dressing up box and choking people to death.

I'm not usually a gambler but I might even lay a bet on that. It would explain why it seems Han is not with her anymore.

Plus its a good excuse to cover that fucked up. plastic looking face of hers!!

 That's not very nice.

I just noticed, with timdiggerm's reposting, that the second picture (in his order) has what looks like a crashed Star Destroyer in the background. That should be interesting. And we now know what the pig things are going to be used for.

Maybe Tatooine has become a giant ship scrapyard?

Watto must be rolling in dough if he's still around. ;)

I'm intrigued by the concept that Vader's helmet survived the funeral pyre, (if indeed it's supposed to be that very helmet) and someone recovered it from Endor at some point. It's a cool Shakespearean way to have Vader in the movie.

Much to my amazement, the ROTJ funeral helmet does still exist.

I saw an episode of Australian pickers where they went to some old movie collector's theatre where he had at least three reels of Star Wars. Pickers were drooling on it but the guy said he should have "a million dollars" before considering selling it, haha. Are you aware of this guy, poita? He had some unique film equipment at his still working cinema. Just shows you that those are still out there.

Where people come up with these prices for things that bears no resemblance to reality, I have no idea. I've seen this happen with everything from not so rare comic books to animation cels.

Where is Kenny Baker on Ep7

No problem! I thought I had missed an announcement somewhere... Prowse has publicly expressed interest in returning as Darth Vader in Episode VII... assuming the character will be in the film.  I still think Prowse, Mayhew and Baker should  have an unmasked cameo somewhere in the ST.

I agree. And since George isn't running the show, there's no reason Prowse can't be welcomed back into the fold.

Was Han Solo stupid?

Context is everything, and people do get tired of being asked the same stuff over and over again. Harrison's comments in the original making of ESB book made it sound like he was happy with Han's growth in that film. Jedi had to have felt like going backwards after that.

Just one grumpy old man moment can be immortalized in the press forever though. Sir Alec certainly had his.
