I feel lucky I saw a beat up print of The Shining several years back, as what I saw last fall was a DCP with the same color issue as the Blu Ray.
Are we going to have to scrounge up Kubrick prints now?

Some of his post TOS, pre TNG projects held great promise. Spectre was the forerunner of X-Files and all the spooky paranormal shows we've had since. It's a crime the pilot movie is not even on DVD.

As it's pre Disney deal, there's not much loss in them putting it out with little to no promotion. They're putting out Strange Magic this month, the traditional time of year studios dump films they have little faith in.
It's a safe bet no more episodes will be made.

We have come a long way from trying to clean up and enhance dodgy old Laserdisc transfers. The ingenuity this site inspires never ceases to amaze me.
And flying cars, hoverboards, and Cafe 80's franchises. ;)
I remind those of you who still have Laserdisc players, that it is incumbent on you to see this doesn't happen this year...
