And we’re back!
I didn’t do much except keep refreshing the page. 😉

Holy!
Another ridiculous style trailer. ;)

I'm sure Luke utters the words who, is, and that in the OT, if not in the same sentence.
We should probably start a new thread for potential meet ups to see the movie.

Very sad.
It's too bad Riley never appeared in the movies. He made a good impression for only being in two episodes.
If I remember an old Starlog interview correctly, Hyde was constantly amazed fans remembered his character.
I'm closer to Hollywood than San Jose. ;)
But I might have a chance to get up there early next year.

Holy moly! Was this already known about and I just missed it, or is this new news?
Where to see The Force Awakens via 70mm IMAX prints!
It's sad to see how few IMAX theaters there are left that actually show 70mm prints anymore. But at the same time...AWESOME! They're actually making and screening 70mm IMAX prints of the new Star Wars movie!!! I was not expecting this at all! I may have to make a special Christmas trip to one of these theaters just for the experience...
Well, damn. I guess they replaced the one that used be at Universal Studios Citywalk. That was the only one remotely closest to me.
When Artoo plays the hologram message for Ben, all sorts of embarrassing things the little droid witnessed in the prequels could flash by. Ben hurriedly fast forwards through them.
Luke could ask who certain people are, only to have Ben shush him?
You can easily find it in states near the border. :)
Yeah, I noticed bottled in Mexico soft drinks are popular around here.
Did anyone grab the BTTF II Pepsi Perfect bottles?
They kept it around until 2002, (rebranded as Coke II) so maybe there's still some sitting around on a dusty supermarket shelf?
I found Pop Tarts two years past their expiration date once, so anything is possible. ;)
I wonder if anyone still has a stash of original coke in their attic? People were hoarding it for a while.

P.S. Phasma looks like a Cylon warrior from BSG 1978.
As Ralph McQuarrie did the early concept art for BSG, the circle in now complete. :)

J.J. has said in an interview Phasma's name was inspired by the 1979 cult horror film Phantasm.

After the negative reaction to Chewie's demise in the novel Vector Prime back in 1999, I doubt they'd want to open that can of worms again. ;)

Unless everything we think we know about this film is completely off base, Luke's absence figures heavily into the plot. I'm totally fine with him barely being in it if it makes the story better. We've got two more of these on the way, I don't mind it if we don't get everything all at once.
Yeah, well Mark Hamill isn't getting any younger (and neither am I!) I may be dead before the next 2 come out! ;-)
Anyhow, good trailer. The trailers alone are already better movies than eps 1-3.
Mark put in a lot of effort getting into shape. That plus the time spent working on the film would seem to point away from a glorified cameo.
Unless they were secretly filming part of Episode 8 at the same time. ;)
You mean Bantha. ;)
I stand corrected. Either it was a rights issue with Buck, or maybe they used a print where it was missing? Someone unfamiliar with THX would never know it was gone.
Why would what looks like a sex spam tweet have the #originaltrilogy hashtag?

His hand was always mechanical. He may have simply have lost the artificial skin over time or isn't in a place he can get it replaced. It was damaged enough in ROTJ he put a glove over it.
Post Jedi, he may have opted to always leave it uncovered to remind him of how close he came to falling to the dark side.
All the video releases have it. I have everything save the Blu Ray, which apparently was so badly designed, some players need extra memory just to load the bloated menus!
George may replace Buster Crabbe with Gil Gerard for the 50th anniversary Director Director's Cut though. ;)
Kylo's scars may well be all on the inside.
Anakin survived in one of the Infinities comics, with a slight change in wardrobe.

As I think the comic ends with this, I don't think they dealt with how others in the Rebellion would feel about him being around.

I'm sure a heartfelt retraction will follow once he awakens to a Taun Taun head on his pillow. ;)
Yeah, some of us have been waiting 32 years for this. :)
Frevious liked the trailer?
