My money is on the adventures of the Enterprise J in the 26th century. That way they stay in the prime universe, but are far enough away from the previous shows, (the way TNG was from TOS) to be a fresh take on things.

They’ll find a way for Data or Q to show up of course. 😉

B4 you mean? Data bit the dust.

On a side note, I still firmly believe that movie was solid, if a bit strange.

He “backed up” his memories into B4 though. B4 essentially had become Data (and a Captain) in the comics depicting the events leading up to the 2009 film.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail -- 1975 theatrical (on hiatus - lots of info)

Huh, I thought the new Blu was a simple double dip cash in rehashing the original disc. Might have to pick it up now. I’m going to end up with more copies of this film than Star Wars at this rate!

You’d think someone around here would know someone who speaks Japanese. I should probably ask around the other forums.

And my Halloween avatar remains until my outrage over getting sandbagged with Christmas music on the 31st has subsided. 😉

It’s a shame Vincent Price never guest starred in an episode of The Twilight Zone.

Looking at the IMDB, it’s interesting how much tv he actually did. (Bucking the notion movie stars didn’t do tv unless their careers were waning.) It doesn’t seem he did he did as much television during TZ’s original run, so maybe it boiled down to actually being available?

It’s the early instant holiday barrage that makes me sick of the whole thing by the middle of December.

Exactly! I don’t want to be sick of Christmas by the middle of December. I want Christmas to be special, not something you get sick of!

A house down the street has had Christmas lights going since Tuesday.

when the owner is gone, you should go down there, remove the lights and leave them in a heap on their front lawn and leave a note telling them they are putting the lights up too early. Tell them to put up some thanksgiving decorations instead.

That’s crossing the line. The house in question is on the property of an orchid farm to begin with.

yeah I know, I wasn’t really being serious. But it is tempting to do to those that put up Christmas lights too early.

You don’t celebrate Halloween? Why?

My neighbors directly across the way put up fall harvest type decorations up yesterday, thankfully.

Good for them.

Was tortured by Christmas music in a restaurant tonight. It’s going to be one of those seasons, I can tell.

Christmas music in restaurant on Nov 2nd??? That is insane. I would have complained to the manager.

Trick or treat traffic can be nonexistent around here some years, leaving me with a lot of candy I’m not going to eat. Local kids starting getting surly and downright rude around 2008, and that kind of soured the whole thing for me. If most of my friends weren’t so far away, I’d gladly join them in their activities. One turns their house into an effects laden spooky walkthough every year.

As for the restaurant, it’s probably satellite radio or something similar to the music channel on my cable tv. There was so much background chatter, I didn’t even hear it until halfway through my meal.

Anyway, they were so nice about offering me a free appetizer after screwing up my pizza order and making me wait a bit longer for it, I was in no mood to complain. 😃

If I ever get back into the Halloween thing, I’ll leave my decorations up into mid November in protest like I once did several years ago. I’ve left gargoyles guarding my front steps ever since though.

My neighbors directly across the way put up fall harvest type decorations up yesterday, thankfully.

Yet another trailer. 😉
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEn5gIeGENU

I seem to recall some old interview where Mark Hamill said that the last SW film would have a weird and 2001-esque ending. So I guess this is appropriate?

(EDIT: Does anyone remember this interview? I tried to google it but couldn’t find anything. Did I just imagine this? This may have been back when Lucas’ was considering making 12 films.)

Maybe it was in a old magazine that has yet to be digitized?

Full aperture is the plan. We may see more than we bargained for though. If Stanley is in the edge of a shot glaring at Shelly Duvall, we’ll see it. 😉

May I request a picture of you dancing with the bear guy in this movie, just for giggles?

😉

It’s actually a dog according to the new book on the movie I read recently.

And be careful what you wish for. 😉
