President Donald Trump, in an exclusive interview Thursday with NBC News’ Lester Holt, called ousted FBI chief James Comey a “showboat” and revealed he asked Comey whether he was under investigation for alleged ties to Russia.
“I actually asked him” if I were under investigation, Trump said, noting that he spoke with Comey once over dinner and twice by phone.
“I said, if it’s possible would you let me know, ‘Am I under investigation?’ He said, ‘You are not under investigation.’”
“I know I’m not under investigation,” Trump told Holt during the 31-minute White House interview.
It would be highly unusual for someone who might be the focus of an FBI probe to ask whether he was under investigation and to be directly told by the FBI director that he was not.
Somebody sounds worried.
And of course, we already know that his campaign is under investigation.

They also could have pressed a ton of discs to the point it exceeded the initial demand. Fox apparently gave a lot of unsold full screen stock away to charity. These discs have the UPC slashed and a sticker pasted over it:

You can still find a lot of early DVD titles in bargain bins these days. I doubt Warners is still pressing flipper discs of the Batman movies for example.

Isn’t somebody making a “real” one now? There were so many games with limited distribution in 80’s arcades, (I’ve never seen an Atari Empire Strikes Back in person) that a mysterious game few have played had an air of plausibility.
The Vegas casinos used to have large arcade areas to keep the kiddies away from the gambling, (and they may still do) and I saw games there I never saw anywhere else. Never found the elusive Starfighter though. 😉

Don’t most Blu-ray players have a zoom setting for non anamorphic DVD’s? I know Panasonic does.
But then you’ve got the problem of the alien language subtitles getting cut off. Unless of course the player doing the zooming also automatically repositions the subtitles, which I suppose is possible. I’ve got a panasonic bd player so maybe I’ll test it out on a 4:3 dvd.
Yes, I did encounter that issue. Never understood why the films ditched the burned in subs on DVD. Even the widescreen Laserdiscs were that way. At least my Samsung flat panel can slide a zoomed in analog video source up and down to fix that. No such luck with HDMI inputs.
I’d pay money for a mislabeled ROTS disc that sported an R rating. 😉

I did see a documentary a year or two back about how government agents interacted with the UFO believer community over a period of years to further obscure black aircraft projects. I think it was on the Discovery channel?

It’s hubris to throw everything not easily explained under the bus. The series Arthur C Clarke’s Mysterious World and it’s two follow ups, remains the most evenly balanced discussion on UFO’s and other strange phenomena I’ve ever watched.
Well crap.
I messaged the seller, he posted a new picture… definitely bootlegs. They have the cheap Chinese-style cases (the real ones had a flippable portion in the middle, the left of the box was still used for the chapter insert), and also notice no MPAA rating on the discs.
This is why I asked!
Time to look some more…
It’s sad and ironic the GOUT is being bootlegged at this point.
Amazon doesn’t vet it’s third party sellers much, if at all. I bought a DVD off of Amazon, and the seller sent me the wrong movie. It was an obvious Asian bootleg. I eventually got what I ordered, and that was legit though.
All of it non-real.
