I was sometimes disappointed in the articulation compared to Mego mini figures I had from their various toy lines. (Buck Rogers, The Black Hole, and Micronauts.) They were similar to the small GI Joe figures of the 80’s. As those were held together by elastic inside the body, I doubt they’ve aged as well as Kenner figures have.

I would guess the poster isn’t considered, as it has to “read” well being seen on the screen of a small device? If you’re totally unfamiliar with the movie, screaming Chunk isn’t going to draw them in, sorry kid!

I’ve been to a horror con a few times in recent years, and it’s a mix of legit titles, region free discs of unknown origin, (at least to me) and then bootlegs of films that have never seen a legit release, and workprints. All really depends on the seller.

The bi monthly comic con I used to attend up in L.A. back in the 90’s was the Mos Eisley of bootlegs though. Got my first copy of the Holiday Special there. A smaller local con I attended in 2002 had at least one seller brazen enough to be offering an AOTC VHS bootleg that was probably shot off a theater screen.

Post office is doing that food bank donation thing today. Put mine in the bag provided about six feet from mailbox on my front steps where it could easily be seen from the curb. (Thought someone might swipe it if I put right on the curb.) Mailman never even saw it if they looked at all. 😕

I did a quick edit based on “how” and “when” because we know “what” and we don’t want to know about “if” and “who” is them.

I know tape traders, (for lack of a modern digital term) have operated that way, but I doubt a vendor at a convention is charging just for parts, labor, and blank media.

I think there’s been some research into why people have dreams like that. Something to do with sleep paralysis, IIRC. Why little grey guys doing weird medical things is a common theme, I have no idea. It might have been little red chaps with pitchforks for people in the distant past.

Odds are somebody at the Mouse House knows about us. One of many reasons for the rules we have regarding projects around here.

Aliens could also be so advanced, the way they communicate is way beyond anything we’ve even thought of yet. It would be like trying to pick up color tv signals on an AM radio.
They also could be so far above us, we’re not considered worth talking to, if they notice us at all.
