Neither GWTW or Oz was mere weeks from being completed when their director’s were replaced. (And the circumstances of some of those film’s multiple directors leaving the production is different.) Spartacus’ original director was sacked after only a week of filming.
I don’t see how those exclusivity deals even make sense in the modern world, when you can buy stuff online from just about anywhere.

There is probably a lot of confusion about what a film producer actually does. Some are very hands on, others almost never visit the set.
Replacing a director(s) this late in production is almost unprecedented. That this is a troubled production is not just in the eyes of fans, but the industry as well. This could seriously dent the career of a younger less experienced producer.

Oh man, I’ve been in such a good Star Wars mood the last few months that I was actually softening a little in my heart on my stance against the prequels. I was even vaguely considering watching them again at some point, maybe as part of my pre-TLJ marathon. Then you had to go and post pictures of the things I had completely forgotten. (Seriously, I totally forgot everything about that awful droid factory scene).

Unfortunately, I haven’t seen one iota of evidence that people who voted for Trump feel any differently now than they did then. In fact, I think his base of supporters is at least as strong now as it was during the election. They appear to like his orders and his behavior, and think he is doing a great job.
May they all live long and prosper, so they have to awkwardly explain their actions to their grandchildren someday. Especially the women wearing slutty t shirts at Trump rallies. 😉
