This has probably been posted before, but I find it so hilarious that I cannot help posting it again.
“Little White Cuck Ball” and “Nebbish Beta Orbiter” are perfect lurker names.
I would hope not. Cuck has way too much baggage attached to it. It’s derogatory, offensive and borderline profanity in some corners of the net at this point. We’ve already had issues with offensive avatars in recent years.
Dare I even ask where that’s from?
Looking at that literally makes my eyes hurt.
Highly unlikely pairings are par for the course in fan art.

Unless the damn script leaks, we’ll never know for sure will we? 😉
Haven’t seen it.
Yeah, the digital recoloring leapt out at me. Is nothing Star Wars safe from being revised?
Yoda still magically changes size throughout. At one point he’s small enough to stand on Luke’s shoulder!
That was my first thought, as the text font is familiar, but it doesn’t sound like the FNV announcer I remember and can be heard in clips on youtube. Maybe it’s from Night Tracks which aired on TBS?
The Los Angeles market had two local music video shows I know of that often played stuff MTV didn’t. Other large cities may have had something similar?
Would it be easier to have Fett fly out of the pit before the barge goes up?

Our heroes are on the opposite side and too busy retrieving the droids to see him.
Mango, you have a PM.
I don’t recall this one at all. The Huey Lewis video was in heavy rotation at the time. That looks like it aired on one of the music video shows that competed with MTV before exclusivity deals killed them off.
This is more insulting to the United States than kneeling during the anthem.
I agree it is disrespectful. It violates the rules of flag etiquette.
That’s not the actual flag though. Should we boycott the Rocky movies while we’re at it?

I think it’s kind of dumb we play the national anthem at sporting events anyway. Why don’t we do it in movie theaters before the trailers or in restaurants before we eat?
You could even argue it’s disrespectful to the anthem to play it before a meaningless sporting event.
Tv stations used to play it when they signed on and signed off for the day accompanied by patriotic visuals. You can find a ton of them on Youtube.
Few stations go dark anymore except for routine maintenance on the transmitter in the wee hours of the morning. This is why small children are seldom yanked into the other side by angry poltergeists these days.

I wonder if CNN has ever updated their sign off tape? Only to played when the world comes to an end of course.
I got a question. Do they play an anthem at UK sporting events?
Yes, at English FA Cup Finals and England international soccer games, as well as other sporting events.
(God Save The Queen is usually played when Great Britain is being represented too - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God_Save_the_Queen)
Soctland and Wales have recently been playing their own anthems on occasion.
Scotland is usually ‘Flower Of Scotland’ - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_anthem_of_Scotland
Wales is usually ‘Land Of My Fathers’ - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hen_Wlad_Fy_Nhadau
Northern Ireland occasionally plays ‘Londenderry Air’ when it is representing itself - http://www.nationalanthems.info/nie.htm
Ireland (when playing as a united Ireland) - usually plays ‘Ireland’s Call’ - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ireland’s_Call
Weirdly, England doesn’t have a national anthem - though we just play ‘God Save The Queen’
Personally God Save The Queen is a shite outdated anthem and would be better replaced by something more inclusive such as Jerusalem, but am sure not everyone in the UK agrees 😉
Bet you’re glad you asked now mate? 😃
Delighted! 😃

I heard from him in late August. He’s taking a break from things.
There was a magazine sized issue part of the Marvel Super Special run and an oversized giant edition.

Can’t recall what version of Yoda appeared in them though. I probably had the oversized edition but those things were hard to store with one’s regular sized comics.
We got hosed on more Dalton films in any event.
Han could also have had the markings removed at some point.
R2D2 was visited by the spectre of an old R5 unit he abused in his youth
Obviously Luke could get back to Yavin without Artoo’s help.
I guess it flies on manual too. Right into a swamp.
I was about to say Artoo could have a near death experience in Frink’s next edit. 😉
I should have said, can someone fly a long haul trip across the galaxy without a droid in the socket? Obviously Luke could get back to Yavin without Artoo’s help.
This full frame LD release also has mono sound and is a bit cheaper to come by than the 1995 remaster.
http://www.lddb.com/laserdisc/04914/ID5239VE/American-Werewolf-in-London-AnI have that one, but my way of ripping laserdiscs sucks, even if just for audio. The 1995 laserdisc was made by the same company as the 1997 DVD, which is my source for audio. The audio was stretched to 5.1, but I compressed it down to mono using Handbrake. Sadly, it’s as close as I’m gonna get for now.
That auction is close enough to me that the shipping is super cheap. If you’re willing to cover the cost, I can buy it and rip the audio for you. I take the optical output from my LD player straight into a CD recorder.
Just make the audio files available to anyone else that wants them.
JEDIT:Checking around to see if anyone I know has already captured this. Stay tuned!
Ha, copyrights that run out! That’s a nice one.

Copyright for Star Wars expires 95 years after publication, so in 2072.I will be 99 years old. I better start eating healthier.
There’s always cryogenic freezing. But then you might have to battle sentient otters for the last surviving copy when they thaw you out. 😉
Hollywood insider gossip. Easy to say, difficult to prove. 😉
