What I’m really looking forward to are ultra thin tv’s that eventually could come rolled up like a carpet. LG already has a flexible display that hangs on the wall with magnets. Still fairly expensive at this point.

Some people crave attention, any kind of attention. There are people who confess to unsolved crimes all the time who didn’t do it, or claim to have insider knowledge of who did and have none.

Nobody says you have to, but you don’t have to break out the torches and pitchforks either. It’s good that celebrities with long histories of abusive behavior are being exposed, but at what point does hysteria take over and it becomes a mass witchunt?

Anybody with an axe to grind is going to get their 15 minutes in the limelight, (even though it’s not the good kind) take someone’s career down and won’t have to prove a thing in the court of public opinion.

How so? The consensus seems to be Spacey outed himself as an excuse.

With all these allegations coming out almost daily now, the possibility of someone seeking publicity or simply getting revenge is there. Going to give Mr. Takei the benefit of a doubt until the picture becomes clearer.

Are there any UHD players that don’t have cooling fans yet? Fan noise in early Blu Ray and HD DVD players could often drive me nuts. The one’s I still own seem a bit quieter with age now though.

Most people don’t have a wall big enough to get the most out of 4K. It’s not the giant leap in resolution we had going from DVD to Blu Ray. And many 4K titles are actually 2K upscales because the Digital Intermediate was only 2K to begin with.

It’s getting harder to not buy a 4K tv these days. I’m not sold on the 4K disc format yet, but future proofing your gear is always a good idea. I just hope all the technical specifications are settled this time. Wasn’t fun when I found out my first LCD couldn’t receive unscrambled HD cable channels.

Wish I could forget. Never going to be able to enjoy Tales Of The Gold Monkey again either. That was a cool show. Saw some of the sets on the Universal Studios Tour when it was still in production.

WB only distributed the theatrical TCW film and released the show on video. I’m sure all the rights have always resided with Lucasfilm.

This would only lend more credence to someone’s theory upthread about Rian’s trilogy being about the origins of the Jedi, which is pretty much exactly what I’ve been wanting them to do.
